This was a business lunch with our favorite supervisor and it turned out to be a surprise from her for our team in appreciation of the hard work we have accomplished. Great choice because we all love seafood!! From the sushi choices to the cooked entrees we were treated very royal. The atmosphere was airy and comfortable; very classy.

Dined at Oceanaire for a work function and was impressed with the quality of their pre-arranged menu - large Old Bay-seasoned shrimp cocktail, chopped salad with a fresh dressing, amazing crab cakes (light on the batter and heavy on the crab), as well as sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes, topped off with cheesecake and chocolate cake with ice cream.... I dined at this establishment one night during my training week in D.C. This restaurant was highly recommended by a co-worker and it was spot on. I suggest that you make a reservation to avoid long waits. The service here was excellent. I had a courteous waiter who made some wonderful suggestions. The ambiance was sophisticated with just the right... More

2nd time here .... seated immediately upon arrival (we had a rez), but after 20 minutes at our table, no server had come. I inquired at the host station and was told, without any kind of apology, "Yeah, I'll be right there." That didn't sit well with me OR my family .... then, the same guy comes by and asks... More

The ambiance was great, but after the atmosphere, the food was definitely not worth the price. My friend and I ordered Chilean Sea Bass. What we received was not the thick cut of fresh fish, but a preformed dry chuck of dried fish. I have had sea bass at some of the finest restaurants and never did I receive a... More

We had some really nice seafood although one fishplatter was a bit overcooked, but service was poor to serve the water and to poor the wine! Food was good, but not excellent. Shrimp pasta was a little to buttery !

A definite stop for a good meal downtown DC. Forget the little snooty waiter we had, the meal is more important!

The food we had here was superb, as was the service. We came in without a reservation, and sat at the bar. Fantastic service. We shared an appetizer, the crab cakes, which are the best we have ever had. We then shared an entree and a side, and could barely finish. A great experience!
