Super fresh seafood

The salmon was perfectly cooked and the Ahi tuna just melted in your mouth. Chopped salad with house vinaigrette was delicious. The service was a little slow on a Saturday night and this place felt very stiff, business oriented.

I love oysters. My first visit to this location started with lunch. My husband was in D C for business so I treated myself to lunch at Oceanaire. I sat at the bar which is very large with a raw bar side. My waiter was very nice and attentive. They quickly proved delicious bread and a relish try. I started... More

I attended a business dinner there last month and it was very good. Our host is a known foodie and always selects fine restaurants. I had the dinner special which included a delicious crab cake (their specialty), a salad, a filet mignon and cheesecake all for one price. I didn't choose this because of the price but it was what... This restaurant was very good. The food was well prepared, presented nicely and the portions were very good in size. The service was excellent from the coat check person to our server, to the manager. I would recommend this restaurant and would go back the next time I am in DC. Save room for dessert, the chocolate cake is too... More

The seafood garden salad (it was a salad with seafood) was very good but my lobster tails were a bit tough for my liking and the sautéed spinach was bland but I had a nice time over all.

this used to be Brit Brit's favorite restaurant circa 2010 and i can see that, personal service, maybe too personal (not so in diners faces Marco) plus food that seems a little heavy on the sizzle and not on substance. I did like the BLT salad with a nice buttermilk dressing. That said, fish and chips have been done better... More

I visited the restaurant last week, after not going in quite some time, and I was not a happy camper. My servers service was sub standard at best and I ordered the branzino, my favorite Mediterranean fish, and when my server deboned it table side, he butchered the already dead fish. There were so many things that did not satisfy... More

The seafood in this place is excellent. Their crab cakes are very good as well as a side of corn. I have been a couple of times and their sampler dish with several items is very good. The sword fished is awesome in this plate. The restaurant is well located, very well attended. Just word of caution, this is not... More
