This is a lovely place to take a break from seeing all the sites in DC. It is calm, clean and offers lots of interesting refreshments. We enjoyed a lovely herbal tea mix as well as a black tea, and some sweet snacks. The service was pleasant and fast. A great place to relax on your own or with a... More

Our food and tea beverages were great! And, we enjoyed the atmosphere. We ate there late morning right before lunch time. We could tell it can be a very busy place during lunch.

I thought I was going to love Teaism, but found it really average at best. Stopped in for lunch and found all the employees indifferent and completely unwelcoming (DC is such a friendly place normally!). I had my udon noodle soup slung over the counter at me because two ladies were taking their time at the tray pick-up counter and... More

Just don't purchase a bar of Theo's chocolate unless you're ok with paying $6.50 for something you could get at Whole Foods for $1.99.

We tried two locations while we were in DC and visited 4 times altogether. The selection of teas was great and the bento box had very generous proportions. A nice place to stop for a break from the heat.

I had the shrimp salad which was delicious. The kale chips were so much better than the ones I make at home, the ginger scones were heavenly. Finally the iced Morrocan mint tea was excellent. This is the one place in DC that I repeatedly come to. I like all of them, but this location was perfect since my hotel... More

If you want healthy lunch options while in DC, Teaism is a great choice. The bento boxes are awesome. I also love the curry chicken salad. They are great at accommodating food allergies. You can't miss the tea!

I went to Teaism for a business lunch with a couple of co workers. The place is a little less expensive than nearby restaurants, such as Bombay Club or Equinox, but the menu is very interesting with asian fusion flavor to it. There are some indian dishes, thai curries and japanese style entrees and what's even better cinammon ice cream... More
