I needed a place for a business meeting that would take a reservation in the area. This met all of those criteria. That said, it was very loud and overpriced for what you received. The food was good and fresh.

My family are lunch here after visiting the zoo. The service was very good. Our waitress explained the menu and made my daughter feel welcomed. The meal started with some flatbread that we enjoyed. We shared the TAVERNA PLATTER. Very good. Next time in DC, we will consider this restaurant.

"Lebanese taverna" was never one of my favorite restaurants. Both the food and service were mediocre. But I gave it a second chance when they refurbished the place. It lost that cavernous look of the previous "Taberna". It is now brighter and cleaner even if slightly borin looking (that is, is, a very conventioonal "mnmodern" design).. But the food....the food!... More

They have a gluten free menu and can also modify several of their other dishes to be gluten free. They even provided gluten free crackers with their hummus. The food and atmosphere were good. I am pretty sensitive to gluten and did not get sick here, I would recommend it to others with Celiacs.

Food is delicious. The kitchen closes early on weeknights but when we showed up for a 9:30 reservation- while the place was almost empty - they didn't rush us through our dinner. The ambiance is cozy, I love the wall made up of middle eastern lanterns. We enjoyed their sampler of appetizers which includes hummus, baba ganouzh, dolmas, and much... More

While my starter was good I was disappointed with my main course where the roast vegetables were cold and raw and had never seen the inside of an oven! We had heard good reviews and were looking forward to a good last night in the city but this was just average. When we did complain at the end of the... More

When entered the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it was. The service was excellent. My friend has a dairy allergy and they so helpful making sure her meal was safe. The food was very fresh and delicious. We are planing a trip to Annapolis and are looking forward to dining at their restaurant there.

great GF menu! Automatically bring GF rice crackers as accompaniment... chicken schwarma - a bit salty, lamb/beef schwarma was better; lentil soup is amazing balance with lentils, lemon, *big*; portions overall are substantial, flavor flavor flavor! lemon, cloves, cinnamon, pepper...so good! Red sangria is on the sweet side but with the other spices is went really really well; braised lamb... More
