Nice location good Consistent food

I ate alone and read a book in there patio area, street side. The food and atmosphere were good, and tourist or business attire appropriate. I started off with the falafel appetizer, which had good flavor, crunchier than I had anticipated. The waiter also brought warm nan/pita to the table. For my... read more

We walked in around 9pm on a Thursday night and found it to be a little busy but not packed. From the get go the service was impeccable. The food was packed with favour, cooked to perfection and great portion sizes. Desert, baklava was the best I have ever eaten. I could not recommend this place enough!!

This was the most overrated TA restaurant I've ever been to. I would lobby to get the scores down and save people from this tired old menu. Really, what is so special about hummus anymore.

We stumbled onto this place very hungry after a full day of traveling. We were seated outside and the service was very good. We had the spicy hummus with fresh bread and the bread was spectacular. The meals were prepared very nicely and I will certainly return.

I liked everything about this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. The 100 character requirement is absurd and will keep me from further reviews

I have been visiting the Lebanese Taverna in Woodley Park since the 1980s and am happy to report that some good things never change. Every trip to Washington over the past 45 years has included a stop at this fabulous restaurant as part of my itinerary. My last visit was no exception. Originally I was seated at a small table... Never had Lebanese and it just got added to the list of my favorite cuisines. The food was fresh and flavorful. The wait staff wasn't the best (they weren't bad, just not great) but the food quickly made up for it! The decor was fantastic and the atmosphere was appropriate for locals and tourist alike!

I ate at Lebanese Taverna for a wedding party. Everything was delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. The food tastes very authentic and the pita bread is unique and delicious with everything. When I go back to DC I will definitely eat here again.

The Lebanese Taverna was an unexpected gem. I love to try new types of cuisines and I was not disappointed ! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the dishes and helpful in choosing ones that were loved by our table. Would try it again if I were in the area

A large group of us had dinner here and the server went out of his way to make it work perfectly. We choose from the menu where food is served family style and we choose a large selection of dishes. The appetizers include hummus, tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, deep fried falafal and kibbeh balls and a vegetable dish. These were... More
