I love Lebanese Taverna which has locations all over the Mid Atlantic. The stay is very much like family, the decor takes you to another place and the food very authentic. Love the sampler platter, the salads, grilled meats. Everything has so much flavor. Read about it on CITYPEEK and highly recommend in DC, Baltimore, N. VA.

I stopped in at Lebanese Taverna for lunch with a date before going to the zoo and really enjoyed it. The meal was flavorful, as Mediterranean food should be, and of good portion. Also notable was the interior, which has been tastefully renovated with stylish decor. Good spot!

I can't express enough words for this place. Everything was wonderful, fresh, tasty and awesome! I will be returning to try other items in the menu! The Taverna Platter was great as well as the white sangria!

Thanks to the delicious food here my 18-year-old daughter and I are now huge lovers of Lebanese food! We dined here several times during our DC stay and each time found the food flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the service excellent. Our favorites were the semolina dusted fried artichoke hearts, Falafel with Tahini sauce, and the beef and lamb Shawarma... More

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday night with two young boys under the age of 10. The host and server were both friendly and entertaining, and answered all our questions. We ordered the platter in order to sample everything, and it was all absolutely delicious. Both boys found something they liked. We splurged and ordered dessert, which was just... More

I am a huge fan of Middle Eastern Food and I have to admit that this was by far, The BEST Lebanese cuisine I have ever had in the US. Everything I had was superb. We ordered two mojitos which were so good and fresh. Our server ( Ryan ) was the nicest server we had in DC and was... More

I always go here when I'm in DC. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The lamb kabobs are my favorite and the bread they serve is fresh out of the oven. The staff is very nice. Location is also great - right by the Woodley Park Metro stop.

I am normally not a fan on Lebanese, or really any Middle Eastern food. However, the food was good....even the grape leaves (which is one of the reasons that I don't normally eat this type of food). We were eating with a large party, and I frankly have no idea what everyone else ate. They had a fish special which... More

Wanted to try something different on the way to the zoo. This restaurant is across the street as you exit the Woodley Park stop on the red line. The Mediterranean food is excellent and the service is attentive without being pushy. The interior is very nice however we chose the outdoor patio to enjoy the people watching!
