Nice place

Huge place, a bit outside of the center, not really Mediterranean looking, but nice food and really great hummus. Child friendly

20 years ago to the month we moved from Washington DC to LA. Before we moved, we would visit the Lebanese Taverna whenever we came into the city, which we frequently did with our young daughter. The food was good, and the restaurant was well run. Today, we were back in the city with our youngest daughter, and some of... More

The restaurant itself was very nice, modern and clean, and it seems to be quite popular in the neighborhood. We made a reservation and came on time but had to wait before speaking to the host, who gave us a little bit of attitude for suposedly being 5 mins late which apparently made it hard to find a table (even... I like to have at least one "good" meal when I'm in a different city. This time, it was so good I had to go again. The second meal was even better than this first. First meal: lamb kebab with grilled tomato, seasoned zucchini/onion salad, Lebanese rice pilaf, and FRESH HOT pita bread--an entire tiny hollow loaf to dip in... More

Do not miss this restaurant, it is tremendous. Everything we ordered was delicious. The hummus sampler is great and the entrees we ordered were even better. The only problem there is trying to decide which one item to eat. There were too many items that I actually wanted to order. Plus the drinks and beers on tap were super. We... More

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and had the most amazing chef's sampler... a square dish with 9 cut-outs for different bites. Each came from the appetizer menu and every single one of them was delicious. Actually, the menu listed a few items I couldn't eat (with meat or dairy), and the server was more than accommodating to... More

Anyone with reservations about branching out to middle eastern fare should worry not at Lebanese Taverna. They have a diverse menu of traditional fare that is perfect for first timers and regulars. Just about everything will please, from the hummus to the falafel to the schawarmas. The mains, including the fatteh's and the kebabs are all worth trying. Great ambiance,... More

Keep going back to this place, solid, tried and true. It is a chain and not quite what you get in Beirut but best I can scrounge in VA!

I am always pleased with the freshness of the food and the tasty dishes. We were seated late in the evening and had plenty of attention from staff.
