In DC for our annual wreath laying at Arlington--and another dinner visit to the Dubliner---a "bit of Ireland in downtown DC". Harp on tap, delicious fish and chips/burgers/or sheperds pie--an attentive and good-natured waiter named J.P (after Pope John Paul)----a very pleasant time---but do something about that drafty a/c blowing into the dining room!

Always so crowded. Obviously a popular place. Very nice Irish pub and restaurant. Food okay. Drinks expensive. Location decent.

Food was fabulous and staff unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable. Our server suggested an Irish lager to an ale drinker, and it ended up being a fantastic choice. Live music 7 nights a week. Great establishment.

I've often stayed at the Phoenix Park hotel and patronized the Dubliner which is off the first floor lobby of the hotel. The food is good, but I'm not a big fan of Irish fare (e.g., corned beef, pot pies), but I do like the seafood dishes which include salmon. The selection of draught beer and whiskey is broad and... Slip into this local institution and you'll feel miles away from Washington DC, especially after the first few sips. Terrific selection of whiskeys and beers and be sure to order a plate of sliders. We sampled Green Spot whiskey and loved its smoothness and crispness. Fun and friendly service.

I enjoyed my visit and meal at the Dubliner. Our waiter did a great job "setting the tone" and telling us about our menu and drink options. I ate the Chicken Pot Pie and other than the copious calorie count, was impressed. For DC, I found this to be a very reasonably priced restaurant. Great decor on the inside too.

My wife and I were looking for a place for a drink and pub grub after a day out and decided on the Dubliner. It was Saturday night but we were able to get seats right away at the bar - The bartenders were great - good recommendations and very friendly, alhthough busy. They pour a fantastic Guiness here.
