Great Irish Pub near the US Capitol in Washington DC. Casual atmosphere and excellent food. Dining inside, or outside by the sidewalk for people-watching (or to have a little quieter meal, as dining inside can be noisy. I am not a beer drinker, but there is a compliment of Irish beers as you might expect.

Both these Irish Bars are good, The Dubliner is more popular than the Irish Times, it has live Irish music in one of the rooms. It can get crowded as the menu is good and it has good drinks.

Friends and I stopped in after a very long day of meetings. We had heard that the food here was very good. This is a very pleasant restaurant to have a drink and meal. The food was very tasty and the wait staff very attentive and friendly. Though not the best meal I've had in a restaurant, I would definitely... More

Good food, good beverage selection, nice music. They have both inside and outside seating. The outside seating appears to be quite popular since it is sometimes very noisy inside.

This place was a reasonable walk from our hotel, and is right across from Union Station. We happened upon it when looking for a lunch spot. The prices were great, and my fish and chips were delicious. But service was pretty poor - I finished my drink long before I finished my meal, and didn't get a refill until my... More

Excellent bar and food service. Irish themed menu with outstanding stews, fish and chips, etc. Great selection of beers and liquors from Ireland.

Dropped in here to escape a thunder storm in July. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere here so we stayed for evening and dined here. The Irish Stew was tasty and wholesome.

Poor service, inattentive waiters, tasteless food - very disappointing evening. Nothing to say about what was liked because could be recommended.

Good service and yummy food! Fish & chips @$15, was crunchy and delish! The Guiness burger is a must have....full of flavor & indescribable! Onion soup was fair. Good selection of beer but a little steep at @$6-7 a glass. Crowded tables was the only detriment.

This is a classic Irish Pub with a wide ranging menu and pretty good food all around, but it really shines at night. It has a first rate bar in a classic setting. Well worth the visit.
