Great Place - Mix of locals and tourists

Great location and a wonderful place to grab a pint and a snack. The crowd is always lively and a good cross section of young professionals, tourists and business people. It's a DC classic.

We were staying in the Phoenix Park Hotel where the Dubliner is housed. We went downstairs to eat dinner, and we were very surprised at how many people were in there. We put our name on the list, and the hostess said it would be about 30-45 minutes. Wow! We went back down after a while and got a table... More

We stopped in for a late lunch at the Dubliner (around 2pm) at the recommendation of the concierge at the Liason Hotel. My husband had the fish and chips ,I had a bowl of potato soup and the Monte Cristo sandwich. The food was very good served quickly! Seamus was our waiter. He was vey friendly and personable and made... More

The service was good. The menu had a good variety and the food was very good. It had a good atmosphere as well as it being very old historical pub.

If all you want is an Irish beer, it's fine. The food is spotty, the service is rushed and not too friendly, and it smells of old cod and wet cardboard. It's basic, but not pretending to be otherwise.

My family and I had an early dinner in the farthest room from the bar. Our waitress was excellent and the food was quite tasty, esp. the salmon appetizer and the chicken pot pie. The food was pricey and the back mirror hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Great looking food. I was able to enjoy a salad the first night. Very little that was gluten free on the menu. The salad was prepared without cross contamination and I did not get sick. :)

Enjoyed the food, but a little pricey. Great if you are staying at Phoenix Park Hotel. I had an Irish Panini with coleslaw and fries which was tasty. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the chicken pot pie with a flaky crust. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. a little pricey for the quality of food though

We were looking for a place to eat near Union Station before a night tour we had booked. I ran across the Dubliner online a few days before arriving. They do not take reservations, so we thought we'd take a chance on a short wait. We got there around 5, which was good timing because it started to get busy... More

This restaurant at the Phoenix Park Hotel is a busy place, but food is good as well as the service. Pub style restaurant which seems to be a trendy place for folks to stop for a drink and a bite. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.
