Nice place with a good atmosphere and great cheese fries. Got a nice bit of history to it with surviving two D.C. riots and the Obama ate here too so Nice to see those photos. Good location and reasonably priced. Quick service - worth a trip!

While the framed and well-hung celebrity wall photos of Bill Cosby and Barack Obama noshing and posing at this D.C. landmark may not necessarily be ringing endorsements in 2016, rest assured they won't be thrown up on Ebay anytime soon. The last time I spent an hour at Bens it was sonically overwhelming to say the least, but in the... More

Started going to Ben's back in 2000 when I lived on U Street. Best Chilli Dogs & Fries and a landmark. Big up to Nizam - congrats on all your family has accomplished

I've heard a lot of people mention this place, and I also heard of all the famous people that have visited, so I definitely wanted to try it. It was the first place I stopped after getting off the plane. It was not as good as I excited it. The chili was decent, nothing special, and a little spicy. The... More

wow this place is amazing. the people there are very nice and helpful. but the thing that was the best was the half smoke. this was so good because of how they make beef and pork combine to make the best hot dog better

This is a Washington, DC institution where you go to see and be seen. Everyone who is anyone will be there anytime of the day; and the food is pretty good, too. Just don't go with the expectation that you will be counting calories. It's an ole fashioned diner that has really not changed very much over the years. It's... More
