Love this place! Nice looking, friendly staff, good sushi, and a great happy hour with $1 per piece sushi. Order the baby octopus salad it's delicious and a great value! Can't wait to go back again!

This restaurant is within walking distance of the National Zoo - we walked here after our day there, arriving in time for Happy Hour. They have small dish and sushi deals during happy hour that made it easy for us try a variety of things, all of which were quite tasty. We also ordered a few regular entrees and some... More

Sushi isn't my first choice, but this was very enjoyable and I would be eager to go back next trip. The dragon fire roll features sweet potato...crispy, fresh and enough for a share with 2 or 3 others. The soft shell crab roll was another fave, and met our goal to be sure and have some local crab...

There were seven of us and the service and food were both very good. We had both the sushi and thai options on the menu. I enjoyed the coconut soup and the red curry with chicken. The sushi was tasty- and the fish was very fresh.

We came to this restaurant because it was close to the hotel (Omni Shoreham) and we like sushi. The employees were very kind and you get very nice sushi for a normal price 👌🏽. Between 12 am and 5 pm (happy hour) you get sushi for $1.- per piece, cheap 🖖🏽.

It was a quiet lunch hour but all guests were packed into a tight little front room instead of dispersing us throughout the restaurant - I wasn't asked where I would like to sit. The waitstaff seemed nervous and uncertain. They brought me beginner chopsticks without me requesting it - I know I hold chopsticks incorrectly - I also hold... More

Overall average sushi place located on a city block filled with ethnic restaurants. My sashimi was not the best despite the high price. The miso soup was good, and the ice green tea was freshly brewed.

We've been going there for a long time and always enjoyed the sushi. If someone in the group doesn't care for that then there are other tasty items on menu.

They are very friendly and quality of food is good. They have a REAL Japanese sushi chef and he makes good sushi. The price range is fair.

I've been coming to Tono with friends and family for years. Have never been disappointed. The double salmon roll and the kimchee tuna roll are two of the best sushi rolls I've ever eaten and they are consistently fresh and flavorful. Nigiri and more simpler maki is also always very good. They have non-sushi asian fare as well for those... More
