Good for lunch

We visited from a conference at the Marriott across the street. Service was fairly quick, lunch choices looked like a good value. #2 was yummy, from my perspective!

My daughter and I love sushi so we dragged her little brother along and checked out Tono Sushi. He ate rice and edamame while we indulged ourselves. We took advantage of the happy hour special pricing (goes until 7:30) and ate a variety of sushi. Try the eel - we weren't sure which piece it was but it was all... More

In town for a conference and looking for a lunch place near Marriott Wardman Park. This yummy place is just down from the hotel. They offered lunch specials and delicious food. The brought us all a seaweed salad that was crunchy and had lots of yummy seasoning. I ordered a cup of vegetarian tom yum soup and couldn't believe the... More

My wife and I both had the $10 lunch specials. Very good and each one was unique. Wife had the Pad Thai and I had the Red Curry. Portions were large.

I must say I liked the interior much better than the exterior. From the outside it looks a bit cheap. But on the inside it is much nicer and it has a cosy atmosphere; two tables are low so you can sit on the floor. The menu is quite varied and there is WiFi. Portions are big. I would have... More

We went for happy hour when some of the items have discounted prices. We were given three menus which was a bit overwhelming. The edamame was good. The spicy tuna roll was also good, but there could have been more tuna. The kim chee tuna had fresh tasting tuna, but was a bit ordinary. Good prices for the area. Service... More

I think that for people from the West Coast or New York, this restaurant wouldn't be anything terribly special but for me as a resident of DC, this is my go-to place for sushi. My recommendation is the Crunchy Unagi Roll and the no-longer-on-the-menu-but-they'll-still-make-it-for-you-and-it's-great Obama roll.

We walked here from the National Zoo. It was great. Our waitress was SO wonderful. She was all smiles and so sweet. After we left, my 9 year old kept saying how nice she was and how much she had liked our waitress. The complimentary bean sprout salad was awesome. The sushi was great and very affordable. Definitely recommend.
