Very busy in the evening - unable to get a seat outside. They have an extensive menu. Enjoyed our food and service was good.

I always walk by this restaurant on my break and always see it busy. So I decided to give it a try. I sat outside and ordered the 8 salmon and 8 spicy tuna sushi roll. They were both delicious. I also had their passion fruit lemonade and it was actually very refreshing. I paid about $17 for the sushi... More

As a solo business traveller, I wasn't keen on going any place too restaurant like, but saying that, this place was great. I sat outside on one of the tables by the road side, had great service from the guy serving me (who chatted to me about my choice of book to read whilst I was there). The pad thai... More

Raku is a busy restaurant that obviously knows its market well.It is the sort of place you would go to when you can't be bothered to cook or want to meet up with friends rather than somewhere to go for a romantic night out. There is outdoor seating by the roadside to watch the world go by and on the... More

It was a rainy DC girls night out. We climbed the narrow steps and escaped the dreary weather in a Tiki-like atmosphere. Immediately, Raku's decor announces, "This is going to be an evening like none other." The drinks: Inventive and de-lish! The food: Also clever. Really to my liking for the most part. We were served a mystery dish that... More

Nice outdoor seating and attractively presented entrees. I love iced tea and it has a hint of unsweetened peach flavor. My daughter (21) had a traditional chicken/noodle/vegetable dish and ate all of it (she usually leaves a lot on her plate.) I (52) had a Bento Box special that included at least 8 different items. All the little salads and... More

Celebratory family meal held there. Extensive menu, served promptly with a smile. Thoughtfully waitress checked regarding possible allergies or food exclusions. Food very tasty and well presented.

We ate at Raku twice during our visit to DC because our first was the best meal we had in town. Service was prompt and outstanding both times. There's something for everyone as they really do have a true fusion menu from sushi to thai to chinese eclectic. The menu has a vast selection and was one of those where... More
