Wait staff is not at all friendly. The bathroom was out of order, so I had to use one in the basement. It was very dirty - I think it was the dish washing area. There was a dead bug in my salad. The waitress briefly apologized, removed the rest of the salad and never gave me a new one... more

the Dupont circle Raku treats people terribly, the tables are too close, the waiter consistently bumped into my table, and the food make me sick. The tofu must have been collected from the dumpster. We happened into Raku on recommendation of a neighboring merchant when we couldn't find a Chinese restaurant in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Took a chance on Raku since it was close to our hotel (Jury's Washington). Even with it being a busy evening we only had to wait a minute or two to be seated. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was DELICIOUS! The Pork Dumplings were yummy too! Even my meat and potatoes hubby thought the food was good... more
