If I were just rating the view and the great time with friends....it would be 5 stars. Our waiter was very abrupt...rushing us to order...tossed the bread basket down with a thud....later brought butter after 3 requests......ETC We are laid back...pretty easy to please...but the 4 of us were quite unsettled at our waiter's demeanor. He has been a waiter... More

Great location on the edge of Georgetown, and on the river edge. Very good food, indoor and outdoor dining, with pre dinner drinks area outdoors as well. Slightly more formal facilities, although smart casual was very appropriate.

Superb view too. The overall menu is nothing special so I understand the average rating if this place. But, to be fair, the seafood is very good. Fresh, authentic, nicely served. The staff is attentive and professional giving you the "I like your company, have some more food, enjoy"-feeling. Recommended, if you stick to sea..

Although the menu was a little limited and $$ , the seating outside is gorgeous. Beautiful view overlooking the Potomac River. Loved eating dinner outside. Great service as well.

My 78 year old mom visited us, and we took her out to the waterfront where my daughter used to row. Perhaps not the best idea as the heat was oppressive. At the harbor, she became faint, and we needed to find a restaurant with air conditioning for a late lunch. We found a place in the shade, and I... More

We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row. The food was fantastic, the scenery beautiful and our waitress, Pamela was friendly and very efficient. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Tempting though it may be to dine at this waterfront restaurant - with its floor-to-ceiling windows that offer amazing views of the Potomac River - save yourself the money. You can do better. Prices at Sequoia are about $30/person for a dinner entree, and the food is subpar. Not terrible, mind you, but certainly not worth the price. Our "Peel... More

Sequoia is nice for a casual meal by the waterfront although in is a bit pricey. The food is above average but not great. I had the whole fish special and my wife had the Pork chop. Oysters were good as was the house salad. If it wasn't for the location I would not return. The waterfront is a happening... More

This was a great place to have drinks and dinner on the water. Service was good. We order starters and enjoyed the view. Will go back.
