So you are in DC, maybe visiting and staying near the Mall etc - and want a more high end dining experience....... Sequioa definitely delivers The place was packed on Sunday night - and had a great vibe. Definately get seated outside. There is music, noise and beautiful people. Folks chugging up and down the Potomac. Generally the same few... More

I've been here for brunch but never for lunch. Sat outside by the water which was delightful. Our group enjoyed the grilled shrimp nicoise salad, Maine Lobster & Cotija Sandwich, mussels and french fries. All delicious and nicely presented.

Nice view and expensive drink. The food is not great, there is a lot of places to have a much better meal in DC... I would only go there for a drink.

This was our first visit there and it was after a show at the Kennedy Center. The view is absolutely stunning and the same could be said for the food. I started with the gazpacho which was nicely chunky and had a spicy finish. She had the seafood bisque that was crazy good. My filet was as good as I've... More

I loved their brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas which is reasonably priced at $54. I highly recommend the crab cakes and pretty much all their raw bar, don't skip the oysters or crab legs. My daughter said their fried chicken was the BEST she ever had! Service was excellent and they refilled our mimosas constantly until we eventually just had... More

Great restaurant - ask for seats near the windows. Beautiful view. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Early in the evening the restaurant was fairly empty but filled up quickly around 7 pm. Definitely recommend reservations.

My review is only about dining outside on the patio. The interior looked beautifully decorated and very inviting but empty last night. Sequoia is at the east (downstream) end of a string of restaurants that center on the riverfront Washington Harbor plaza. Unlike the others, this restaurant's is terraced on the gently sloping hillside, not too close to the noisy... More
