Made reservations for dinner while on vacation in the city. The first impression of the place was it liked pretty nice and sort of fancy with white table cloths on the tables. We walked in our T-shirts and shorts from doing the tourist thingy (no problem). Bread was available while we waited for our dinner. I ordered one of the... More

We had a great experience here overall. The food was superb. The service was excellent, and the prices were fair. They have a great wine menu as well. If you are in DC, make sure to check this place out. We'll be back.

The food was ok. The calamari on the risotto I ate was a little chewy. The service was moderately attentive, but not exceptional. Overall was not very crowded on a Saturday night

This Italian restaurant was recommended by the hotel as it was just around the corner. The surroundings and staff are pleasant enough but the food could be better. The lobster ravioli was big enough but was too salty. The calamari and linguini were a little over cooked so it was really hard to cut with a knife and required a... More

While I've walked past Tuscana West many times on previous trips to DC, this was my first visit for dinner, but it will definitely not be my last. On a recent visit, with Manager Ciro as my server, I started my meal with the best gnocchi (in pesto sauce) that I've had in years, ate a wonderful and unusual veal... More

While on a visit to DC, my husband and I met up with friends for dinner. This was our first time to Tuscana West. We were not disappointed. It was a Friday night, we had a reservation. Our server was very attentive and provided some good suggestions for dinner. The wine selection was nice - we enjoyed a Chianti with... More

This is the second time I've eaten at Tuscana West. The first time was a year ago on one of their opera nights. That evening was very noisy due to the crowds; if you go to one of these evenings with a larger group, I'd recommend you reserve one of their private rooms. This time, there were still a lot... Atmosphere truly lovely.food and service excellent. It was "opera night" so, even though the singers were pretty loud for a non-concert venue, their performances were first rate. Overall great evening.

Just an 8 minute walk from Embassy Suite Hotel Convention, this place has a lovely terrace. The Italian menu is full of interesting dishes from chicken to savory pasta . Went twice once on the terrace which was full & the next time our waiter Rudy remembered us & offered a complimentary desert (tiramisu) on nice gesture. Would eagerly return... More

We were there on a weeknight and the place was hopping! At least three large goups so the noise level for very high. I would have liked to be able to hear the live piano music. Very beautiful restaurant. I had lasagna, husband has snapper maybe, we both loved the food. Waiter could have been more attentive, but we were... More
