The food there was ok, not too impressive, but the rich history of the restaurant was unforgettable.

This place is a great restaurant but the prices are on the high side. The food is good but the wine selection is mediocre and far too expensive choices. The location is ideal for downtown and the restaurant isn't too large and hectic.
The food is delish--as it should be for the price. Even with half the tables full, service is disappointing and aloof. Overall a disappointng experience that I won't repeat, which is sad.
This is a great place for celebrating graduation! The restaurant is historical and just beautiful! The food is excellent! Do not leave your wallet home, but you will not be disappointed!
The Occidental Grill is part of the Willard Hotel complex (part of the Intercontinental chain). We enjoyed lunch outside - we had generous sandwiches which fortunately left enough room for a dessert: my blueberry cobbler with ice cream was outstanding, my husband enjoyed the profites with caramel. chocolate and strawberry sauce. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly and...

Nice restaurant, very busy like most restaurants. I would go back again. After speaking to a few people at the bar we noticed that they were charging diffrent prices for the same drink? Not sure if it was because it was so busy? Anyway- the woman next to me spoke up and they did correct it. Worth the visit.
We missed our dinner reservation and were wondering where to go, realizing how busy places were. We were given some encouragement to wait so...

This restaurant is well worth going to. A good menu selection with an great wine list. Always a little treat from the Chef before dinner and good service. A nice chance to dress a little special, sit back and relax after a busy day and enjoy good food and wine.
Enjoyed the lamb burger very much. Cooked perfectly. Very Rich and filling. Very nice staff. Everyone was super kind.
We decided to sit outside for lunch at the Occidental on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was very expensive but it was the experience and the sights. It did appear to be short staffed, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, with many open tables. It took another 12 minutes to be greeted by a waiter, another 10...
