Vegan Brunch needs more options!!!!!!!!! .... especially at a 30.00 price-point w/o bottomless

Pros: French Toast Tofu Scramble Cons: Limited Brunch Dishes Price I was expecting more!!!!!!!!! However, the tofu scramble was excellent and the chef is very talented. I would encourage people to try the vegan brunch, but it would be a better experience if there was a bigger spread of... read more

The vegan brunch at Equinox is fabulous.I am not vegan but decided to try the brunch because of word of mouth recommendations. Service was excellent. It is buffet and we stayed a long time-we never felt rushed.Eating in this cozy setting was a wonderful way to relax with a close friend.Everything from the onion soup to the beet salad to the... Five participants in a national hospitality industry meeting decided to dine together at Equinox after the meeting finished. My choice. And it worked out very well. We arrived a bit early but were seated immediately. Most of us elected to try the winter season choice vineyard, Esser. Several varietals -- and each was excellent. In fact, a California-based exec with... More

Ate at Equinox for a recent business meeting. It's one of the few relatively quiet places in DC where you can have lunch or dinner and hear your table mates' conversation. Some items we ordered were exceptional, including the onion soup. The salads were under seasoned for my taste but the ingredients were fresh and portions generous. More vinegar or... More

I ate here with a group of 22 people that were in town for a conference. The group dining area was cold and had a draft as it seemed to be more of a covered outdoor or summer section of the restaurant. The starter salad was quite good with beets, greens and oranges. The main dish was steak but the... More

Went here the Day before Valentine's Day, but they still were offering a four-course special menu. We chose: Sweet Jesus Oyster Stew / Celery Root / Parsnip / Black Truffle Black Trumpet Mushroom Crespelle / Jerusalem Artichoke / Meyer Lemon Spinach / Pickled Shallots Ravioli of Main Lobster / Cara Cara Orange / Heirloom Beet Coulis / Artichoke Chips Pan... The Sunday Vegan brunch at Equinox is an amazing culinary experience with so many levels of flavor for each dish! The French toast is out of this world, and the tofu scramble easily had 16 ingredients to choose from. Easily the best brunch I've ever had, Equinox is a restaurant that cannot be missed. If you're looking for vegan fare... More

Met all expectations. Pricing was what I expected for the quality & location. Entree selections well thought out & enticing. Nice wine list. Only issue might be dessert costs - too high for what you get. Quality there but very little on plate.

Friends and I visited during restaurant week which isn't always the best time to get a good idea re a restaurant's cooking or service. Despite the crowds, we had a very nice meal with good service - we all had the short rib main plate which was excellent and we all took some home. Great, if pricey, wine by the... More

We greatly concluded our two-days stay in Washington with a dinner at Equinox. Very good food, very nice atmosphere and we could find a good table even without booking. You can really enjoy good food always keeping in mind that good food means high price in US, but it definitely deserve.
