As experienced travellers to India, we didn't like the food, and it was too expensive. The fish curry (part of the Club Thali) was pretty darn bad - presumably made with fish leftovers almost or totally gone bad. I proposed to my wife on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial 2 years ago, so I admit I do have a strong bias towards the Bombay Club. But it was one of my best dining experiences at an Indian restaurant in my 7 years in the US. We didn't have reservations, but they accommodated us. The food was spectacular.... more
