Fine Spanish food

I particularly recommend their seafood. The paella is excellent. Other seafood dishes are also very good.

I ordered for delivery - the Trout in wine sauce with Shrimp and Mushrooms and the spinach and carne empanadas. Everything was excellent and the prices were really resonable. I look forward to odering from there again. The only negative is slow delivery (1 hour 10min) ..but in my case it was worth the wait. The delivery guy was super... More

We went here for an early NYE dinner before a show. We had the vegetariano 4x4 platter which had empanadas, mushrooms and peppers. Also had the fried calamari and the sauteed plantains. All were delicioso! Service wasn't particularly fast, but we enjoyed sitting in the upstairs window and watching the people on the street below. Good value, too.

food mediocre; combination of low light and low ceiling create an unappealing atmosphere; paella not worth buying; servers disengaged.

On the basis of some very good reviews, we tried out this restaurant. We were very disappointed and will not be back. There is minimal decoration, little atmosphere: The Gypsy Kings playing and a few bullfighting posters on white walls is about it. The biggest problem is the food. Items we enjoyed were: the sangria, croquetas and churros. Bad choices... More

This is a great place to stop in the summer for sangria...but not in August. In typical European fashion, the restaurant's closed the whole month.

If you want real paella this is the place. Nothing fancy about the decor, nothing pretentious, just authentic Spanish food and the best paella in DC. If you order it to go they undercook it slightly so when you warm it up in your oven at home it is absolutely perfect .
