This is a typical Mexican restaurant. The food is really good and that's why we keep coming back whenever we are in the neighborhood. It's spacious so it's good for groups and it's family friendly too! We have been here with friends that had a baby in a stroller and another toddler and they were able to accommodate us immediately!... More

The service was OK. But the food was bad and tasteless. The salsa which they complimentary was bland and zero taste / spice. When asked for hot salsa the server said they don't have one. How can Mexican restaurants don't have hot salsa? I ordered cheese enchiladas where I only get tasteless tomato sauce on cheese enchiladas served with rice... More

As someone from the Western U.S., I am always in search of a good Tex-Mex place, but even more so, as a non-drinker, I am always in search of the perfect virgin margarita. My search is over! It was AMAZING!! It was the perfect frozen lime margarita with salt on the rim. It may not sound like such a big... More

This is very large and has a nice outdoor section. You are seated and brought water and chips and salsa. I didn't like the salsa, my husband did. I thought it tasted like a spaghetti sauce. We ordered guacamole and it was good, but had black olives over the top of it. I don't like olives and it said nothing... More

This food was great! And the margaritas were decent as well. Large menu with tons of different options. The chile relleno dish is huge. Would definitely come back. They have a nice outdoor patio setup.

Been going to the Cantina for 20+ years and it is consistently excellent. Fresh chips and salsa, very good margaritas (frozen for me), and the best fajitas I've ever had (and I've had a lot). They make everything fresh including tortillas from their machine right on the dining room floor. Great for groups, families, multi-generations, etc. Never disappointing.

I have been to this restaurant since I was in high school. Now that we don't live so close, we still make an effort to make it here. The food is fresh, especially their fajitas. The meats are flavorful and delicious. The chips and salsa are freshly made at the restaurant. None of that bottled salsa other Mexican restaurants give... More

I'm not an expert on Tex-Mex, so I have little to compare with this neighborhood eatery. But I found the food bland and uninspiring. Complementary nachos and salsa were put on the table, helping to build up a thirst for a large margarita. But the salsa was watery and tasteless, and begged for more spice. I was not alone in... I had a cheese enchilada. The plate was hotter than the food. Everyone at my table loved the pinto beans and raved about them. I really wanted some but they had meat in them so I had the black beans instead. The black beans were very bland - like out of a can, no salt, no pepper - and I... More
