Great for a casual meal.

My friend and I had had a couple of upscale dinner during our four night stay in DC and I was in the mood for something casual. Getting off the Metro, I walked a block or so up Connecticut Ave. and found Zorba. ( The address is given as 20th St. NW, but it fronts on Connecticut. ) I had... read more

This is our favorite fast food restaurant in DC. We often end up here for lunch or dinner when we're in the city. We love the gyro sandwiches. You order at the counter, then find a table and get your food when they call your number. I like getting a seat upstairs by the window where I can look out... More

My husband picked this at random from a Google search so I was a little reluctant when we showed up at the front door. However, the service was extremely friendly and the food was amazing! We both had gyros which were tasty and filling. Pricing was reasonable for DC. We got some extra pita and hummus to go - the... More

Zorba's is a very good and very reasonable restaurant in DC. It has the usual assortment of mediterranean dishes. They are well-prepared and very fresh.

Great Greek food in town! Lots of options with delicious flavors. It's especially nice whem the weather is warm and you get to sit outside.

You order your food at the counter and pick it up when your number is called. But don't let the casual atmosphere fool you-- the food is great! Super fresh and full of flavor, and the gyros aren't dry. The pita bread is to die for! We got an order to go. The only disappointment was that they don't offer... More

This is an old standby for local folks who live and work in the area. The place is not pretentious and you must order at the counter, then take your food to a table. There is outside seating in warmer weather that is almost always full, as well as two floors inside, though this is in a townhouse so not... More

No doubt they have been in the business for 30 years: fresh, healthy food that really tastes like Greek. No service but still you can sit in and dine in. You pay for what you get, actually price is great for the quality. If I was living in dc it'd be one of my fav spots.

I've lived in the city 2 years, and I can say that this is without a doubt one of the best little gems in DC. The food is delicious (I always get the souvlaki, which is perfectly seasoned and juicy) and fairly cheap, especially for the amount of food they give you. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere... More

Great example of Greek food at its best, at an affordable price. We had the tabuleh, fried calamari and zadsiki to start, Delish My chicken kabobs very good the other dishes on the table looked great, I don’t eat red meat so did not try them but all the of people on our party mentioned everything was very good. This... More
