I have been having to stay for work in the DuPont area for years.. But stupidly stuck to CT street .. If I'd only known this gem was several blocks from CT ave.. I'd been coming here for years .. Lovely menu and food. Ask for Jack, a manager, if you want wine selection advice. The menu is diverse as... More

Ordered the chicken curry and the endives salad and it all tasted so fresh and great! The service was excellent and the atmospgere was perfect for a romantic dinner. It is truly a neighborhood gem and cant wait to go back. The tiramisu was good also!

The Gazpacho was one of the best ever. Service was both professional and personable. A beautiful evening with excellent food.

My wife had the saltest rabbit ever. They did remove it from the bill. I found the restaurant average for the food and high for the price we paid.

I had two reception type events at Restaurant Nora, and found it to be excellent in virtually all aspects, food, ambience, service, flavors with some creativity. The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, adding some flair by putting forward their unique approach in offering items that you most likely cannot cook at home. Many of the restaurants in this... We have been coming to Nora for ten years, and have very romantic memories attached to it. On our last trip to DC we were so excited about dining there again. Our taxi hit traffic on our way over and, as the hostess informed us, we were 16 minutes late for our reservation. They had given away our table and... More

Had a business dinner here in the second floor dining room. Fresh and distinct flavors in both the appetizers and main courses. One dessert was excellent: rhubarb pie. The other molten chocolate cake was not molten and also overly sweet. But the ginger ice cream served with both was quite good.

It was my birthday and had gathered family from around the country to celebrate. The hostess was very attentive and sat us promptly. I ordered champagne and it was served warm. I told the server it was warm and as he put it in the ice bucket he said it would get cool. When another server came I mentioned that... More

Nice bar & menu BUT don't need to spend $39 for a small piece of dry Salmon ... my wife had a fish dish which was also dry... had an average dinner with 3 glasses of wine for $200... there are much better fare in this town for half the price...

We really enjoyed the variety on this menu. and the flexability of ordering what you would like off the menu for a set price.. . the ambiance was good too. Waiter and bartender a little too much attitude though.. we asked the bartender how a particular drink was and he said" I don't know i've never tasted it" really? still... More
