The atmosphere is hard to beat from Mama making pasta in the window to the eclectic atmosphere inside. The food is terrific and excellent service. Make it one of your planned outings.

Five of us went for a birthday lunch for a colleague. This place has that old school italian restaurant kind of feel which all of us liked. Good background music, very nice service, the food was wonderful. We each had a different dish and all compliments, clean plates and no complaints. The desserts are rich and heavy - 2 people... Excellent restaurant! The food is wonderful, I can't say enough about the food. Every pasta lover should try this place. It's important, but nearly impossible to leave room for dessert. Their cakes/pies are all incredible. You must make a reservation its always packed and my biggest complaint is that its a bit loud.

The best Italian meal I've ever had. If it's not the delicious food that amazes you, it will be the service. If it's not the service, it's the atmosphere. And if it's not any of those things, there's something wrong with you and you should consult a physician. Now, I am the type of person who can put down a... More

So many people told us this was a great place to eat in Georgetown, so we finally went. Let us say, the decor is "over-the-top" garish -- reminded me of Miss Haversham's in Great Expectations...the apps were ok (antipasto). The main courses were huge and sauce-laden. The handmade tortellini were tasty (esp. the slow-cooked beef ribs), and the end-of-meal liqueurs... More

We heard great things about this restaurant. We went with a part of 8. the atmosphere was nice. The appetizers were good. We had the fried mozzarella and brochette. The dinners were good but not the best Italian food I've ever had. When I think of chicken parm I think of pounded thin chicken with great breading. My daughter thought... More

Homemade Italian pastas and sauces. Dishes are know to be delighted by many, included a few celebrities per their menu. Go here with a large appetite because the portions are huge or be prepared to leave with a heavy to go bag. Food is pure Italian goodness. The experience continued with a light treat before dessert (pictured). Definitely a space... More

This was our second visit to this treasure and we were not disappointed. Made reservations weeks ahead to celebrate an anniversary. Seated promptly and received immediate service. Our waiter Franco was able to guide us through the menu with ease. I dined on the brisket ravioli which was delicious. After dinner desserts topped the night off. This is a must... More

We visited in March and they we were in full-on Easter preparedness. So over decorated it is reminiscent of the crazy aunt in every family who drinks too much, cackles too loudly and terrorizes the children when she smiles. Contradictorily, the food is solid. I had the cheese ravioli with meatballs and my friend, Louise, had the rigatoni with sausage.... More
