Fantastic and eclectic restaurant and Inn.

This is a great place to go for a small or medium sized dinner party. A labyrinth of small dining rooms on several levels, and outstanding food.

My daughter lives in DC and wanted to go to brunch for her BDay. After numerous searches online the Tabard came up as one that would fit the bill. We made reservations, highly recommended especially on a Sunday, and were seated exactly at our time. Place was packed and a little warm although it was a very warm day for... More

The fried oysters and gtits was one of the best breakfast combinations I have ever experienced. It was topped by two, perfectly cooked poached eggs and a generous portion of pork belly. It was a meal to remember! And don't forget the donuts and fabulous bread basket. I can't wait to return to DC.

I was in D.C. for a business meeting and we ended up going to this place for lunch. What a quaint spot, wish I lived in the area so I could visit often. I had the House-Smoked Salmon with caper berries and horseradish crème fraîche...delicious!

We came here to eat dinner, let me just say that the service was amazing! When we arrived, we got a greeted by the hostess which really made our night, the hostess were very nice and polite. Afterward we were taken to a very nice and quite table. Two of us ordered the rib eye steak, and let me tell... More

A pleasant atmosphere with unremarkable food. Soup was bland. My steak was perfectly cooked but tough and tasteless.

This is a wonderful place, hidden away. The food offerings are exceptional and the service is excellent. Best of all, the prices are really fair.

Wonderful food, carefully curated selection, but something for everyone. Locally sourced seasonal foods (so changing menu) but everything is terrific. In nice weather there is out door seating. There is an indoor seating area with a fireplace, in the winter, with drinks and appetizers specific to the area. I had a private party upstairs and the food was terrific for... More

Even on a Monday night the place was full. Quarters are tight--very European--but this restaurant oozes atmosphere. The pork chop was extremely tender and very flavorful, and paired well with the Rhone wine. Service was excellent.
