Great brunch! Ok service.

We ate here for brunch and be absolutely loved it! The bread for appetizers was perfect, and the food was spectacular. Even the fruit was marinated, and it was delicious. The crab cakes were splendid, and the omelet was great as well. We enjoyed everything.

The food was delicious and excellent variety. The dining room was overcrowded and therefore too noisy for a relaxing lunch. Service was terrible. They seemed to be annoyed at having to serve us ...

We joined longtime friends for a reunion brunch at The Tabard Inn. No complaints, here. Everything from the omelettes to the Eggs Benedict and juevos rancheros came out hot and cooked to perfection. We appreciated the generous offering of rolls and muffins. The Inn is located in the DuPont Circle area where parking is a perpetual challenge but The Tabard... More

The service has definitely gone downhill at this nice restaurant in a residential area of DC. The Inn is looking more thread bare as well. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks which didn't seem to have the alcohol content they should have. Our table waiter was fine, however we felt rushed the whole evening. One person wasn't finished... This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in DC. It is in an eclectic but fun and historic hotel...feels like and artsy version of a European guest house. The menu changes often. The Tabard goes seasonal and local with menu. The wine list is outstanding. If you are not on a diet and like sweets, the doughnuts dusted... More

This restaurant was recommended by a business associate. It was a short walk from the hotel and a pleasant eclectic surprise on entering the facility. The decor is unique and inviting; it sets the tone for the rest of the dining experience. The menu is just enough. The service was first class. The food was attractive and delicious.

Picked this one out of a local guide magazine. It was our wedding anniversary--and we picked a winner. Outstanding wait service to go with excellent cuisine. Started with a beet salad that included a bleu cheese and walnuts with a balsamic reduction. Beautifully plated. Scallops were perfect, as were the mussels. Did send the first crème brulee back as it... More

Many different rooms sporting different themes (great for private parties) and eclectic art with high ceilings and cozy atmosphere. Very fun place to be - food was good, service was OK.

This is in an historic building with quaint rooms. The food is of high quality and the service is excellent. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the vicinity
