I've been here dozens of times & rarely visit DC without hitting OEG at least once. The food is great, both in variety and flavor, and the service never disappoints. This restaurant is a local favorite as well, with more locals and DC political celebs than tourists. OEG has maintained their high level of food & service since my first... More

This restaurant has old world charm and delicious food. They take reservations which is a plus. We had the fried green tomatoes as an app and they were great. The crab cakes were delicious for my main course. I will definitely dine here again! Our waitress was also so nice and friendly. Thanks Old Ebbitt Grill!

Get there before 6 and oysters and shrimp are half price and the 1# lobster is a steal. Larry Bacon is an incredible bartender who knows how to take care of ir--regulars. Mike in Grants bar will always remember you and like Larry will remember your beverage of choice, your second choice and even what you like to eat. The... More

Part of a rehearsal dinner celebration. the dinner was exceptional as was the service. Both bartenders that served us were attentive and great personalities. Will definitely go back next time I'm in DC.

Really nice restaurant and very good food. There is something on the menu for your taste. If not, you can ask for slight changes.

Upon visiting the Wite House, I had approached one of the many Secret Service guards outside the White House as to where would be a good place to eat, this was the suggestion. It was that good (service, staff, food and price) that my wife and I frequented the restaurant 7 times in 3 days.

Great food and wonderful ambience! We went on a Monday night and the wait for almost one hour. However, the wait was worth as the food was really good. I am not sure if they take reservations.

This long running DC dining icon is located near both the JW Marriott and the Willard. A very busy upscale spot for oysters on the half shell, crab cakes, salads, steaks and more. A jumping bar scene, with a nicely crafted wine list, you will not be disappointed with either the food, service or presentation, all of which are first... More
