This is an inexpensive restaurant that my husband read about on Urban Spoon. It is a tiny restaurant, and there are a good number of options of empanadas which are baked, so great from a health perspective. Unfortunately, Panas no longer has a license to serve beer or wine, but does have wonderful fruit drinks. The meals are reasonable, and... More

Perhaps the best empanadas I've tasted. I had the vegetarian options with the green mild sauce and it was all perfection. What stands out most is the "light" pastry. Very yummy. And the plantain chips took over the edge. Great experience and delicious meal. Thank you, Panas. I wish you much success. Please come to NYC!

They have a huge variety of empanadas to choose from, including several vegetarian options. I had a chicken empanada and a couple veggies. All of them tasted very good. I also got their passion fruit juice and it was very good and actually tasted like passion fruit. Inexpensive too as each empanada is $2.50

We recently had empanadas in Argentina and enjoyed these just as much if not more! There is a great selection and the prices are reasonable. We got one of every type and split them. All of them delivered! The owner was really nice and friendly. Overall a great experience!

Really good empanadas, friendly service - inventive fillings and clean modern environment. I had take-out and would happily eat from there again.

We stopped in for a snack while visiting for an event and were pleasantly surprised as to the variety and the price as well as tasty and filling! We are vegetarian so I can only review those and our two favorites were the TA- corn with onions and mozzarella and the BA- Brie with mushrooms and artichokes. I also highly... More
