A little hard to find, but well worth the effort.

This place is legit! A bit hard to find since they don't have a sign telling you where to go. I took my roommate to this place and with both love hot and spicy food... Pricey, but that should be expected. It's DC!

What luck. We were able to walk in and be immediately seated on a Saturday evening in August. From what we understand, this is highly unusual. There's no signage and if not for someone telling us this is Little Serow, we'd still be wandering 17th Street. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed and impressed with the friendliness if the staff.... More

The dark, sterile basement was nothing like I expected after hearing so much hype. The seating is uncomfortable, and there is no sign of Thai decorations or even Thai staff. But the food is really exceptional. Just don't expect a pretty spot.

Little Serow is consistently ranked among the top restaurants in DC by the local food critics. The entire aura around it, created by no reservations, no phone number, no sign anywhere on the building, makes this the restaurant equivalent of Fernando's Hideaway. In reality, no sign is needed because as you approach Little Serow's unpretentious entrance on 17th Street, you... More

This sister to the fancier Komi has the affectation of being a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, even though the prix fixe price is nothing but. When we visited, the multi-course meal was overall inspired and satisfying. All the courses were good, if somewhat rather similar to each other. Sequencing was logical. Succinct but well-thought out wine and beer list. For instance, the... More

The best and worse part about Little Serow is that you can not make reservations. This small hide away has the perfect setting for a first date, night out, or just to relax. The restaurant is very small and quiet. You have to stand in line when they open to get a time to come back and eat - they... More

This is a Thai restaurant where they serve a set menu family style. Some of the dishes were better than others. The food is on the spicy side, so if you only like mild food this is not for you. I did not like the pork rinds they brought to start the meal. the raw veggies and sticky rice complimented... More

Little Serow is one of those special little foodie gems you might expect to find hidden somewhere in major city like Manhattan or Sydney. The vibe screams "pop-up" as the restaurant takes no reservations and guests start lining up at 4PM in the hot sun hoping to get a seat in this tiny restaurant. It's no pop-up anymore—Little Serow is... More
