Same owners as Komi and same incredible service and unmatched attention to detail. I think that the food is Laotion, I might be wrong but either way this is one of the greatest meals I've ever had and the other three people in our party felt the same way. We still talk about our experience there and you will too... More

We were in Washington last year and couldn't get a table, but went back this year and managed to bag one about 10pm on our final night. The food was really excellent, as was the service. Great atmosphere too. It is very, very spicy though (I have a high spice tolerance and love hot food and even I thought that).... More

Once you are in the door and ready to be seated, the food is great and the service top notch. However, they do not make it easy to get in the door. This northern Thai restaurant near Dupont Circle is in an unmarked basement. Note the address or look for the line if you show up near opening time as... More

Wow, this was such an experience. Never had service this fine, so organized with making sure the 6 courses came out to each exactly on time. This restaurant is a real success story.

Hot and hot and hot. However, very good. The flavors are very complex. They progress as you chew with each dish. For instance, cool coconut milk > cilantro > ginger > VERY hot pepper as the flavor unfurls in waves. That is the stuff. The service is excellent. Maybe too much. No need goes left unfilled. Take a sip of... More

The food by itself would be worth going, but add the location, wait, buzz, warmth, color, ambiance and you get a wonderfully creative experience. It all combines playfully into tons of fun. Reviewers who compare the menu to Thai food here, there or anywhere miss the delight of a unique vision very well executed here.

I finally made it out here tonight. I am glad I did so I could see what all the hubbub was about, but the dishes were either average or poor. I've been to Thailand twice, the second time to a remote northern village with a Thai citizen so I am familiar with Isan food. Of the seven dishes two were... More

We visited D.C. and stayed with friends, who told us about Little Serow, a local restaurant that has become popular by word of mouth. It can best be described as a Thai dining experience, one where you sit and have seven courses brought to you. No decisions necessary. You can't book and they have specific sittings, only three in an... More

This is the best Thai food I've had in the U.S. It is incredibly fresh and flavorful and very spicy. That said, while I like the concept (set menu, intimate space) the booking process is incredibly inconvenient (they do not accept normal reservations). You (or a member of your party) must line up before they open to get on the... More
