A hidden gem

The food here is always good. Wide variety. Plus, it is adjacent to Ledo's (and owned by the same people) so you can order off both menus. I've had many meals here and it is consistently good.

This place is a gem - classically trained chef with amazing food in north Georgetown. Prices are very inexpensive, and street parking always available within 100 yards. The owner also owns the Ledo Pizza next door - families come in and the kids order the pizza and adults get the wonderful grown up food so often there are several families... More

Some of the worst Indian food I have ever had. Will not eat here again. Palak paneer is this hyper green mush without flavor. The naan is thick, chewy, spongy and flavorless. The chicken tikka masala is fair at best.

wandering along Wisconsin Ave Georgetown, looking for a place to eat and wandered into this place. Wasn't sure what to expect, and wondered about an American 'take' on Turkish cuisine. Even the young waitress wasn't sure how to explain the chosen dish, but it was exactly what I expected (lamb sausages with tabouleh, hummus and pita bread. Just perfect. Service... More

The decor in this place is more like what you would see in a chain restaurant. It was very brightly lit, plain tables and chairs. We were given the Casbah menu but I noticed that staff were sporting "Ledo Pizza" shirts. Then a bunch of young adults came in an ordered pizza? I was a bit confused but then our... More

The restaurant is not fancy, in fact, just the opposite. The staff is wonderful and the food is excellent. The stuffed cabbage is the owner's own. It is made Lebanese style with a white sauce. The lamb chops are very good and the traditional appetizer platter is a meal in itself. You can order different combinations and an ample supply... More

Fantastic! I saw the poor review and was a bit skeptical. My family of five went anyway and ordered an array of dishes. They were all exceptional. Nice server, cozy atmosphere, and dee-lish food. I would highly recommend this place. Yum!

Poor quality mediterranean food. The falafel seemed refried and bad tasting. Hummus was not good either. I love Mediterranean food but if this was my first ever try I would not eat it again. That said the greek salad was alright.

Just happened across this place while in Georgetown for work. The lamb gyro was so good that we went back the next day. Service was great and the prices very reasonable....add delicious food to that list and you have a real winner. Highly recommend Casbah!

I went on a Monday night & I was the only eat in client from 7:00-8:00. That said the Dolmades were great and the chicken taheen was great. So great food!
