You would be far better served by a typical McDonalds. Fries, hot dog and milkskake costs $14.00. That is for a a small serving of fries that were so heavily salted you could hardly taste t them, if they were fries at all actually. There were only four actual fries in the order, the rest, they are handcut daily on... More

Stopped at the Shake Shack just south of DuPont Circle for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Crowded but the line moved quickly, more of a eat on the run place than a comfortable sitdown restaurant. I ordered a basic ShackBurger (no sauce) with fries and a 50/50 drink. Absolutely great, cooked medium, fresh, flavorful and juicy with sturdy... More

If you want a great burger at a reasonable price, dig in here! Quick counter service and delicious burgers and fries. The shakes are a must! Though its a chain, the food quality is great!

Better than five guys, cookout and in and out. The only negative to be said is it can get quite crowded and Pricey but worth it. The smokeshack burger is awesome!

Actually went to the one at Nats Park. The concrete was really good--excellent custard--but the burger was really small and looked like the kind you get at Elementary school lunch. People I know have raved about the burgers, but the shakes are their thing, I guess.

Last night, we decided to try the Shake Shack since it wasn't busy for once. My husband and I both ordered the Shack Stack burger, which is their burger with another layer of a mushroom patty. It was amazing! My husband agreed. We also ordered a strawberry shake, which also added to the meal. It was delicious! The French fries... More

I love shake shack. Usually eat at the ones in NYC. Went to the one in DC and the service was terrible. They messed up on my shake. I told the girl regular shake. She insisted I said chocolate when I ordered. She didn't even apologize as if it was my fault. In the end they still made me chocolate!... More

Believe me, after this experience, no possibility to come back in the famous hamburger monster with a name starting by a M and finishing by a D... Those hamburgers are pure pleasure. The waiting queue was long, but in reality you do not wait so long, and even though, this is a low price for the pleasure. Do not miss... More

We've given Shake Shack a try the last three times we've gone to National games. The food is great, just what I'd hope for at a ball game, but the service is poor and a real deterrent. Each time we've gone a simple order of two dogs and 2 two hamburgers somehow confuses the cashier which results in a 15-20... More

All I ordered was a chocolate milk shake, but it was from heaven. Just a little more than I like to pay, but this is D.C. Just the right consistency, thick and rich, and just the right amount of chocolate taste. Perfect on a hot and humid Washington D.C. summer day. Finally an excuse to get off the Metro at... More
