First experience of shake shack and was great. Since gone on to try in New York and Dubai and quality and selection is superb. Highly recommend for quick snack on the move when sight seeing..

This is a great burger (and I'm from Texas and picky). I highly recommend grabbing one if at Union Station or even going out of your way to eat here while in DC if you've never been.

The burgers and fries here were good but they weren't amazing. The ingredients were fresh but the party was on the small side. I like the crust from cooking it on the flat top. They even have their own beer which was decent. Better than your typical burger joint but on par with In-and-Out or Habit Grill. Fine.

I found the food to be overpriced for what it is; especially the french fries that were not fresh. The burgers are good, but too expensive for what one is receiving. The hot dog is delicious, but not enough for a full meal. I do see why people obsess over shake shack, but I find the name more fun to... More

This Shake Shack in DC is two levels. I enjoyed eating our meal upstairs. This is the second Shake Shack I've been to, and it is amazing. I've eaten in NYC, and this food is exactly the same as the one in NYC, so it's good to know that they are consistent. Dont know why - can't figure out why... More

Our first experience of a Shake Shack was excellent. Great hot dogs, fries and chocolate milkshake. What's not to like? Lovely interior with big TVs showing sports channels. Nice mix of people - families, couples and singles. Friendly and efficient staff. A really nice and inexpensive meal.

I honestly dont think this is the best burger spot and I certainly dont understand all the hype. Five Guys is wayyyy better and so is Smash Burger. Dont waste your time. Even the shakes are not great :(

Went to Shake Shack for the first time. I don't really understand all the rave reviews. The hamburger and fries were decent. Definitely would not wait on a line to eat there. No salad options and other than the Portobello mushroom burger, no vegetables. Only saving grace was had wine and beer but if you wanted a second had to... More

Tiny portions, giant price. Spent $20 on a fast food dinner for one. A five bite burger, handful of fries, a regular drink the size of a junior cup, and a single so-called "concrete" that was five bites of a melted pool of ice cream. I had heard so much about this place but it was so underwhelming. Go to... More

Decided to eat here after catching Book of Mormon at the Kennedy Center because we heard good things and had never tried a Shake Shack burger before. First, the food is ludicrously overpriced for what you get. We got a double Shack burger, a single burger, two fries, a large fifty fifty drink and a small drink. It was $29!!!... More
