I had lunch here twice during a recent stay at the nearby Mayflower Renaissance Hotel. I really enjoyed the Smoke Shack burger, with the single and double. The vanilla malt was also quite nice. When I ordered a soft drink, I was surprised that it came in the same small cup as the shake/malt, and had too much ice. At... More

The burgers are amazing! I tried two different ones and both were excellent. Their concrete was a close second. Service was fast and accurate.

I went with some teens on trip to DC. It was really crowded and seating was tight at 5:30 and got really crowded as the hour passed. The selections of burgers and dogs was Great!

Got a double cheese burger. It came with no lettuce, tomato, ketchup, nothing... had to go back. "Well, you didn't ask for it". No, I don't need this.

I have gone here twice. Once for the burger and fries and once for the salted caramel frozen custard. I enjoyed the burger. I had a shack stack which is their regular burger patty combined with a breaded, deep fried, portobelo mushroom with cheese. It was very greasy and very filling, which is, of course, to be expected. There was... More

We had a great hamburger and milk shake after touring an area museum. The only negative was that it was really crowded and we had difficulty finding a place to sit. But I'd go back in a minute!

My husband and I were in DC for a wedding and we decided to wander around the Dupont Circle area. We found this little place and when went in we were thrilled to see "concretes" were offered on the menu. We had lived in St. Louis, MO (the home of the concretes) for several years and were thrilled to see... More

We knew this would be good...there was a question before it opened... We were not disappointed... Fab burgers cooked to order as per your liking... Great chips-sorry fries!!! Scrummy lemonade...great milkshake... But good value for money. Place clean & tables wiped down. Great staff too... We'll be back...

Had my weeks worth of calories in one sitting with a delish cheeseburger, fries and chocolate malt. Better than the average burger joint. We will be back!
