Stopped in during a recent trip to DC for lunch. The decor is nice lots of wood and bronze statues. Greeted immediately as we approached the hostess and were taken directly to our nice table next to the window. All of the wait staff was exceptional and made a few suggestions on the menu. I order the lobster salad and... More

We had to wait at least 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated. The decor is beautiful but they really cram a lot of tables into this place. To be honest, the food was good but nothing special. The best thing that we ordered was a sushi roll. The squid pasta wasn't memorable and the burger lacked seasoning. The... More

My fiancé and I stopped in at The Capital Grille while touring Washington. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, however our service was sub-par. My fiancé's meal was served and the sides were incorrect, it took way too long to get the check, and then when we did receive it, it was 15 minutes later we were still waiting, and the... More

The restaurant takes care to make you feel special on your special day. There was confetti on the table when we were seated. We were celebrating a bday. The waiter was very knowledgable and nice. the steaks, crab cakes, lump crab meat was delicious. They offer kids a 4oz filet mignon with veggies. Dessert was great too. We got a... More

Excellent oysters, calamari, scallops, steaks (try the Delmontico), creme brûlée, and coconut cream pie. Jossylin was an exceptional server. No kids menu but they arranged a 4oz fillet for my 10 year old. Great atmosphere.

Had the sushi seared tuna with ginger rice and grilled asparagus for two. Excellent. Best if you aren't in a rush...so kick back and relax here for dinner while in DC.

We ate there yesterday for Easter Dinner. We got there earlier than expected and they seated us no problem. Our meal was delicious and the waiter was great. Great place for lunch or dinner.
