I really like CG, it's one of the best steak houses in DC. I've never had a bad meal, and the service has always been very, very good. Between here, the Palm and Morton's I think the waiters are better here. The decor is classic steak house, dark mahogany wood, heavy look booths, leather chairs, etc. The bar scene is... More

The food was great, service really great. They really went out of their way when it came to my friends dietary restrictions.

warm atmosphere, staff very professional and knowledgable about food and wine, food was good, I liked the pan fried calamari and the bone in filet mignon. Dishes were served almost to fast, it was a bit like a rush

I passed by and decided to give it a try after a long day in the National gallery of art. The deco are definitely and the restaurant is upscaled. They have a nice dry aging room near the entrance which is nice. Ordered the dry aged Sirloin as recommended and of course their famous coconut pie. The cream pie is... More

Very upscale grill, very expensive, but you will see someone famous ...I've been here 3 times, 2 for dinner, 1 for lunch and there is always someone you'll recognize. The house wine is very good, I also recommend their soup. I had clam chowder my wife had french onion, both were very good. Be prepared to spend some $$$$.

Food was delicious, crab and lobster. Great salad with chick peas. We sat at the bar. There was a crazy local older couple fighting like mad...we felt bad for the guy, wife was screaming at him entire time. Bartenders seems to act like it was a regular occurrence, lol. Definitely a nice place to eat. If you see an arguing... More

On November 8th, my wife and I stumbled on a very nice restaurant to eat lunch. We were walking from the Capitol to the White House on Pennsylvania avenue. Right on 6th Street, there was a restaurant called the Capitol Grille. We had never heard of this restaurant, so we are the adventurous sort, so we decided to give this... More
