We didn't have reservations so sat in the bar area. No problem for us. We weren't super hungry so shared the lobster mac & cheese and roasted asparagus. Both were excellent. Nice bourbon selection per the husband. oh yeah the coconut pie to die for.

I know people come here for the steak and no matter what you order you'll get a great steak but the best parts of my meal were the butter poached lobster and the coconut cream pie. With that said, we ordered the steak tartare ($17) to start. This dish was average. The raw steak was topped in a tower of... More

The Capital Grille in Georgetown is like all the Capital Grilles around the country. Food and service are great and the prices are high. Overall, you get a great meal and a nice evening out. We took our Georgetown student there for parents weekend and were not disappointed. An expensive steak for a college kid is always appreciated.

This place is not cheap. Expect to pay about $100 a plate. The food is outstanding and well worth the price for a memorable meal.. Service was over the top....very attentive and efficient. The waitstaff is very pleasant. The Crab Cake appetizer was the best yet! The steaks were cooked to perfection and some of the best we has ever... More

The Capitale Grille in Washington DC is well located for those being visiting National Mall Museums... The dining room is quite confortable but the lights are very poor : you can hardly see what you are eating ! Fortunately, the rockfish was very good and without any fishbone ! The Pinot griggio was excellent.

We stopped here after coming out of the Newseum. We decided to sit at the bar and have drinks and appetizers. The place was busy. Our bartender was helpful with our selections of food and wine. The atmosphere is classic but modern. We were dressed very casually and felt very comfortable. Our appetizers (4) and drinks (3) were all delicious!... More

Great service and food. Excellent wine suggestions. Made the kids feel special. Expensive, of course, but we happened to get lucky during restaurant week so at least the kids' meals didn't cost us $100 each lol.

Went all out in a soup-to-nuts style luncheon while on pleasure travel. Service was impeccable, the atmosphere rich and cozy. I was dining alone but they treated me very well, indeed. The wedge salad was of the very best I have ever had. My filet was perfectly cooked and prime quality. Dessert menu to die for! It was nice to... More

When visiting the capital building I would recommend eating here. The choice food was good and for DC the prices are very reasonable.
