High Class, but Something Missing

I guess it all comes down to expectations. Capital Grille strives to be a top-notch restaurant and I wish I could say it was. It's close, but something is missing, and that something makes the difference between it being a meal worth its price, and a restaurant that's overpriced. Service... read more

The Capital Grille is always a standout, but it is an absolute no-brainer during Restaurant Week. My wife and I are locals, but we live and work in the burbs, so we have to make a concerted effort to get downtown. Restaurant Week is a best kept secret amongst locals and the Capital Grille is a favorite. A $35 three-course... More

We stopped in for lunch when we visited the Smithsonian. We had great service and the menu is extensive enough to find something for everyone. It is also a very comfortable environment. Would definitely go back.

Good place for business, good food and great dessert and coffee, it is quite so it is ideal for a business lunch. The menu offers variety of options. Pricing point is OK Nice ambience and cordial staff.

Good eats. Great service. Very high prices. If the relative level of food quality increased to the price point, I'd give it five stars.

Everything is first rate. Food and service. It is a little pricey but a good value. Probably not a family restaurant... either business or romance

Capital Grille truly went out of their way to make the restaurant week dining experience a memorable one with their menu offering. My wife and I will be back again because of this. The Kona crusted filet mignon and Bone-in New York strip steak were fantastic, and the side offerings (mashed potatoes and cream spinach) really complimented the meal. We... More

Good selection of food, we were a big party and the seating wasn't really conducive for 10+. Server was professional but not as great as others have reviewed. I would go to another option for my next visit.

A very elegant experience without an over the top price. The steak was high quality meat and the potatoes complimented nicely. It has a nice low light, relaxing ambiance that is soothing to dine by.
