Awesome fine dining Brunch menu

I really liked this place - they had a great bottomless drink and 3 course price fix brunch menu. I really enjoyed every course and drinks. Worth trying!

Food was delicious, well prepared and fresh. The owner was terrific...cordial, inviting and very Greek. Our wait staff person was the one of the best....charming, always smiling and going beyond just serving. The Kellari chips are a MUST....but the saganaki fell down. In my experiences with Greek food, saganaki is a chunk of cheese....this was a plate of melted cheese.... More

We enjoyed an excellent three-course brunch. All four had well above average starters, noteworthy was the special soup of the day a corn soup topped with crab. The Solomos Benedict was the stand out among several very good dishes. All of the desserts were tasty and would be ordered again. Part of the deal are endless cocktails and sparkling wine.... More

We just went to Kellari Taverna for desert. The baklava was excellent. The vanilla custard was pretty good. The Greek coffee was excellent. The service was pretty good. Best baklava I've had in many cities. Too bad they don't give you more.

We had dinner reservations for a large party. We got there early and our table was already waiting for us. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful in our pronunciations with the food. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. I cannot wait to experience this restaurant again! However, we were told that they could only break down... More

I had really good dinners in nine countries with the same guest. The streak remains unbroken thanks to Kellari. Octopus (Sushi grade, Charcoal Grilled with marinated Peppers, Capers and Red Onions) Lavraki ( Sea Bass, Moist, Mild and Tender)

We came here for brunch last Saturday and really enjoyed it. Champagne was endless and delicious. The seafood is fresh and interesting. We had the red snapper, calamari, tuna and many other dishes and all of them were done to our liking. Definitely recommend this place. Close to the metro.

I stopped in for dinner on a whim this week after getting drenched in a thunderstorm. Was surprised to find an authentic Greek seafood restaurant with lovely ambiance. They treated me very well with excellent service and attention. I had the sea bass with stewed tomatoes, onions, olives and potatoes. Very good and reminded me of a similar dish I... More

We are regulars for weekend brunches at Kellari Taverna, a sophisticated Greek restaurant in downtown DC. The food, especially the seafood, stands out, as does excellent friendly service. The brunch is a particularly good value with periodic Groupons, but is fairly priced in any case, given the 3-course luncheon with unlimited drinks, both alcoholic and otherwise. We recommend it to... More

Came for brunch on a groupon. Sat down at 12 and didn't leave till 5. The food was great and our server was doing her best but they clearly didn't have enough staff. Come for good value Greek food and lovely cocktails, but not if you're in a rush!
