Fairmont told us may not accept us but decided to try anyways. Big burly host out of the god father who greeted us was surprised too hear this and took extra care of us. Food and steaks were top notch. Service excellent. A bit nice for kids but they were seated appropriately and behaved well. Liked this old school place... More

We love the Prime Rib in Philly and especially Baltimore and were hoping for same here.Food was good but the wine is not stored properly. A Steak House this high end MUST serve their red wines at the appropriate temperature.Even worse the staffs attitude about this faux pas was one of indifference. Too bad.

This is the best prime rib I've ever had in my life!!! It is juicy, soft and delicious. The service was also great and the place is fancy. I suggest that you dress properly because it is very fancy. Make reservation before you go.

Went here on the recommendation of a colleague. First impression was not too great. Showed up in khakis and a button down and they informed me I needed a jacket. They did have loaner jackets, but it kind of defeats the purpose. The service was great and the food was wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but that comes with... More

I had the most amazing time celebrating at The Prime Rib for my birthday. My friends and I converse about our fantastic service, great food and our overall dining experience at The Prime Rib as Group. I must say the food and service are always above average. Harvey provided my party of twelve with the most impeccable service imaginable!!! Harvey... More

Atmosphere is just what you would expect from a traditional steakhouse - dark walls, leather chairs, white tableclothes and a pianist. Salads were good and the steak and veal chop were excellent. A little pricey but we enjoyed the evening.

My wife and I had dinner here for her birthday and returned again for mine. Service is simply superb. There when you want them and not there when you don't. Pacing of the food was perfect. We had escargot and tuna for appetizers. The seared tuna was good, not great, but the escargot stuffed into mushroom caps and smothered in... More

Been eating at Prime Rib since early in 1980s and food and service remain high. Good desserts. Service remains one of best in the District. Near Washington Circle.

This restaurant just goes to show that even though they charge expensive prices for there entrees, it's not always worth. My girlfriend and I ordered the filet mignon and New York strip and to our disappointment the food was average. There wasn't any flavor to these steaks and by the time our tab came just seemed like we were throwing... More
