Description: As the only Forbes Five Star rated restaurant in DC, Plume at The...
As the only Forbes Five Star rated restaurant in DC, Plume at The Jefferson, serves as a discreet and elegant backdrop to the artistry of our skilled culinary staff. Plume's classic dishes are inspired both by the gardens of Monticello and the refined palate of Thomas Jefferson. Dishes are expertly executed with lighter, contemporary finishing touches that appeal to today's enlightened palates. Accompanying Plume's innovative menu, the wine program features more than 1,300 labels with some dating back to 1720. Recipient of Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence, we invite you to savor a bottle of the restaurant's more than 50 vintages, including some that Jefferson himself enjoyed in his time, as well as newer wines he might select were he alive today.

Great for any meal of the day

We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it was divine. Great service, great food, the atmosphere over the moon. Reviewed this dining experience in my review of the Jefferson Hotel.

I will cut to the chase. If you are going to spend $600+ on dinner for 4, DON'T do it at Plume. Go to 1789, Komi or Inn at Little Washington. And now the review. Based on the reviews, we were so excited to try Plume. By the end of the night, all we wanted to do was forget we... More

Pricey but worth it. Beautiful decor and ambiance, impeccable service, creative and delicious food. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Plume would be ideal for a special occasion like an anniversary, milestone birthday, etc. As a dessert lover, I loved the "pre-dessert"!

Overall, an exquisite and extraordinary upper end Fine Dining experience! If you value luxe haute cuisine Tasting Menus then Plume definitely deserves your attention. (As a point of reference, it parallels Le Bernardin in NYC.) Service: top notch, impressive. Staff was very personable and extremely attentive (water glasses were never allowed to be 1/2 empty, dishes wee cleared timely), yet... More

My spouse and I had dinner at Plume on Christmas Day. As expected it was a prix fixe menu with enough options to satisfy everyone. Beautiful setting, gracious hosts and excellent cocktails. As a couple we were pleased that the deuce tables had space for privacy. Unfortunately, we seemed to get the worst table in the restaurant (kitchen door and... More

This dining experience is not for the faint of heart - however if you enjoy fine, French dining, you have found heaven on earth. We've had the opportunity to dine at Plume a few times and it has never failed us in any way, Each detail is precise, each course is beautifully prepared. Service is above top notch. I personally... What a great meal experience; great food, service and ambience. Quite expensive in comparison to other restaurants in DC although worth the treat. The restaurant itself has its own small bar area which is pleasant. The room or should I say rooms within the restaurant are nicely spaced and feels like private dining. Plenty of extras provided in addition to... More

We show up 15mins early then expected, we were told they were getting ready for service but asked if we wanted drinks. Staff was super friendly! We were seated in a lovely area of restaurant, our waiter was very knowledgeable! The risotto was hands down amazing! Lobster was okay and the rest very good. I would come back again when... More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Plume after a long trip to D.C. We also ate breakfast at Plume the next morning because we were guests at The Jefferson. The food was delicious, of great variety, and the service was top notch.

What a beautiful restaurant! The food and service were very good. Loved the domed ceiling and garden room. Small, intimate. We loved it for a Valentine's brunch. Has a small bar, adjoining it and separate from the hotel bar.
