Excellent food from start to finish but be ready--a budget buster! Sides were esp good but no bargain. Wine prices start at $75 for bottles not worth $75.

A great restaurant, lives up to its reputation and very worthy of the name and its location. The Bourbon selection was outstanding, and the Steaks were too. The service was attentive but not overbearing; the atmosphere was casual and very condusive to a great evening of food and drink.

Bourbon Steak was an impeccable food experience. The menu was flush with extraordinary dishes and creative offerings. The plating was a sight for the eyes and the tastes were uniquely combined and fresh. The waiters were excellent and responsive, making the dining experience something for us to enjoy without needing to ask for anything. I loved the trio of fries... More

When you go to this restaurant you might go to the bar instead but you'll regret all the times that you went to the bar instead once you try the hamburger. The burger is soft in the inside and crusty in the outside. It even has a secret sauce that is delicious i think its a thousand island sort of sauce. It has... For my birthday my sister gave me a $250 gift certificate for Bourbon Steak. I went with great hopes and was disappointed on many fronts. They gave us three types of fries with different sauces but they all left me unenthused. The salad was average and the steak was okay; nothing was special. Moreover, I am used to eating organic... Fantastic lunch at the bar for three of us. We all stared at the menu, trying to make a decision, knowing full well that the only choice was the burger. The bartender quickly convinced us to put the menu down and follow our instincts. He also made it clear that we should try one of the special sodas prepared at... More

OK, so we read in several different places about the crave-worthy burgers in this restaurant's lounge. Note that they are not available in the restaurant, only in the bar. I want to tell you that this was the absolute, hands-down, best burger I have ever eaten in my life. I doubt that any burger anywhere else will ever come close.... More

Yes, it is expensive. However, the quality of the food and, above all, the service make dining here worthwhile. We had a mixture of fish and steak dishes and all were excellent. The sommelier gave us some advice, based on our budget and taste in wine, and his choices were excellent. The Portuguese Dao was particularly good. Everyone in our... More

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner after doing a little research into the best steak steak houses in DC. To drink I started with the Aku Aku Lapu(mt. gay black barrel, myer's, lemon hart 151, orgeat, cinnamon, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, orange, angostura served in a snow cone glass, mint sprig). It was delicious, beautiful to look at... More
