I made the mistake of going to a steakhouse and ordering the duck. The steak here is wonderful, but the duck needs help.

Despite excellent service and tasty pre-meal French fries, the rest of the meal was a trip downhill. The main course portions of fish were paltry and lacked flavor. The prices were beyond outrageous. The adjacent bar filled with alcohol-fueled revelers, turning us into an audience for a raucous, low-class reality show. Two thumbs down.

I had the lobster pot pie, spinach and (on menu) CLASSIC YUKON GOLD POTATO PURÉE, GRAVY aka whipped potatoes. However, the potatoes was whipped in perfection with drizzle butter and light olive oil. Nevertheless, my husband had a hearty steak that he enjoyed accompanied with a bone marrow custard & unagi. The service, food, atmosphere and experience was a fulfilling... More

The restaurant is in the Four Season's Hotel on Penna Ave. I took a client here for drinks and dinner. We had reservations for 6:30 on Thursday, but arrive about 5:45 for cocktails and conversation. The bar was absolutely packed! Customers were pouring out to tables in the lobby area. We, luckily, snagged two seats in the bar. As we... More

When in DC, dinner here is a must. There sampling of french fries with 3 different dipping sauces is a great way to start a meal. They have a great wine selection, with a wide range of prices. You do not have to spend a lot to get a good bottle of wine. The food is well prepared, with something... More

my wife, my brother in law, brother and his girlfriend had a 2 hour window in which we found ourselves "kid free" so we decided to cruise Georgetown on foot and take in the sights. We walked up and down the main drag and my brother in law suggests Bourbon Steak for a hot toddy. The bar and clientele were... More

Unlike most of the steak restaurants in the US, Bourbon is a place where you can eat in style. I would definitely recommend this place if you have one night in DC.

My family and I went to Bourbon Steak in the Washington, DC Four Seasons for our Thanksgiving dinner. Being huge fans of the Four Seasons, we were very much looking forward to a spectacular evening. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. The three course menu was fixed price, with a number of selections for each course. The meal started out on... More

I have always been quite partial to Charlie Palmer, but Bourbon Steak has opened up a whole new world of fine dining. The ambiance and decor within the restaurant are regal and sophisticated. After a full day of sightseeing, my husband and I were in need of a spectacular dinner. I think one of the best parts about this dining... More

Bourbon Steak is at once refined and trendy, with a busy bar and somewhat quieter dining roon. It is among the best places for a business dinner in Washington. There is just the right amount of background noise to make conversations private. The service is attentive and the food is always competent. The wine list has a lot of variety.... More
