Small restaurant/bar one block from Hyatt Regency. Good food not excellent, but price was very good. Owner came to our table and talked with us, even bought all 8 of us a beer.

If you eat breakfast, eat at Billy Goat Tavern. Great food and staff. The omelets are really good, but then one morning I had French Toast and I was hooked. The French Toast was so good that we had it three days in a row. The breakfasts will keep you satisfied until it is dinner time. Very nice when you... More

It seems more like a food counter in a run down bowling alley rather than a lunch spot. When it first opened it was a fine place to grab a beer and a sandwich. It doesn't even seem clean.

I intended to try the Billy Goat, but the place was dead, with one customer. They have only 4 taps, and the beer selection was mediocre. I had a very cheep cheese burger - $3.35! - from the small restaurant in the room, which has tasty and an excellent deal.

Being a native of Chicago I was excited when I saw this place across the street from our hotel. It had no connection to Chicago other than the name and a few pictures. The food was not reminiscent of Chicago in any way. The bartender had no idea what I was talking about when I asked her if they sold... More

My hotel was disappointing but the fact that this little place was across the street made it worth my while... In fact I was so impressed with their food, I went back a second night! Now if you are looking for trending food that flames beside your table this isn't the place. However, if you want solid traditional fair like... More

Came all the way to DC for some Chicago beer that was conveniently across the street from our hotel.

The Billy Goat was a block from our hotel. We ordered a couple of burgers and fries the first night of our trip. The food was not great but was inexpensive. The place has a $1 off happy hour. The bar has outdoor seating and limited indoor seating. The liquor selection was limited. It was pretty hot inside also. We... More

Great casual dining where you can enjoy a good sandwich seating outside with friends. It was close to the Washington Court Hotel. Clean place with inside and outside seating.

We were staying across the street and got into town late to grab something to eat. Prices are very reasonable and food is OK. It isn't anything fancy but if you're hungry and looking for something relatively inexpensive then this is a good option for you.
