We got the earliest reservation and were seated promptly at 8:45, even though officially not opened until 9:00 am. We ordered the beignets immediately, but didn't get them until after our breakfast but actually better afterwards. The juice was fresh squeezed, the coffee strong but not bitter, the food delicious. The grilled ciabatta bread with breakfast was delicious.

I thought I made good waffles until I had theirs. The chicken and waffles was awesome! The fried green tomatoes appetizer was great too. My spouse had the chicken pot pie which was very good, but too heavy of a meal on a hot day. Great atmosphere! Our server, Helen, was top notch!

Had breakfast here on a recent Tuesday morning while in DC. Had a 10:30 am reservation and were seated immediately. The two of us in our party all had an stuffed french toast and sausage and gravy eggs Benedict. Food was fabulous and this place has a real nice atmosphere. The funny thing was it reminded me of home "Kansas"

I ate at this restaurant with my husband and 9 year-old son. We were visiting D.C. for three days. I made a reservation here, and we had a great meal. Everything was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was fun and lively. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was very tasty. My husband had some sort of meat combo... More

We've been meaning to review this for awhile and haven't been able to get to it until now. We stopped in this restaurant during our end of year vacation in D.C. Our dinner was delicious! Our party of seven had the popcorn of the day, Skillet Corn Bread, Goat Cheese Ravioli, Black Pepper Gnocchi, Frisco Burger, Southern Fried Chicken and... More

It was suggested I needed a reservation to eat here but we lucked up and were able to walk right in and be seated. The all natural food selections were wonderful and I was introduced to an organic Apple Cider which topped off a great meal. You can't go wrong with any of the food choices.

Had breakfast here on a recent Sunday morning while in DC. Had a 9:30 am reservation and were seated immediately upstairs. The three of us in our party all had an "egg scrambler" and we also shared an order of blueberry pancakes. Food was fabulous and this place has a real nice atmosphere.

We arrived with no reservations, however, were seated in about 15 minutes even though the restaurant was packed and the waiting area was even more packed. Hostess very pleasantly told us they needed our table in about an hour for a reservation. Great! We were happy just to get a table. A communal table would have been good as well. Our... More

After reading good reviews here, i knew i wanted to make sure we had one meal here. Breakfast at 10am was a 5 minute wait on a Friday morning... It was packed at 5:00 on a Tuesday. I was alone and sat at the bar. The drinks were incredible and I had the chicken-pot-pie. Mouth-watering delicious. Highly recommend. But make a reservation.
