After seeing so many good reviews, I expected more. Our party of three had a business dinner here. The ambience is lively and inviting - farmhouse wood tables, upscale rustic. The menu features a lot of fried food, burgers and heavy pasta dishes - not what I would think of as farm fresh. We all ordered something different but we... More

Have heard great things about Founding Farmers. Dine-out a lot for business so am abit spoiled when it's comes to service at Restaurants. Certainly don't expect to wait 30 mins for a table when I have reservation. That was my experience last night at Founding Farmers. Restaurant's focus seems to be on packing as many patrons as possible into the... More

Ate here twice during our visit; once for dinner and then breakfast next morning. We had tried to get reservations earlier in our stay but this was the first night we could get. The place is busy but deservedly so. In the evening, service was very quick and attentive. Food came quickly and portions were large. What I would call... More

This place was recommended to us as "farm to table" from people that I think thought that would be our "thing" since we were visiting from California. Not sure what that really means on the east coast but, the food was heavy and didn't taste farm fresh, although it was overall delicious. We ended up eating at the bar (by... More

We were here for work and this place was recommended to us. We wanted something different, less "business" but not a bar. This was a hit among the team! We all had a variety of items from the menu and the wine list was enjoyed by majority! Very cool vibe, really great service, great menu. My only suggestion, at least... More

This is a popular spot and it's easy to see why: tasty, creative locally sourced food, good service, and fun drink options. My wife and I enjoyed the Brie/cranberry and cheese burgers, and a glass and a half of the Malbec. We'll go back and so should you.

I loved this place. It's quaint and homely and seems reasonable similar to a kitchen at your own home. The old tables and old knick-knacks hanging up set the old-timer vibe. I enjoyed the food. I went with the traditional Chicken and Waffles, of which I have never tried together before and I have to say that it quickly became... More

The food was fantastic and unpretentious. The sweet potato ravioli and the pimento horseradish farm bread were absolutely delicious. I might have to drop by again before leaving D.C.

Tasty food and nice environment. We had a bad experience since our reservation was for 9:45 pm: many meals were finished and we were politely urged to leave at 10:30, which was not nice.

This restaurant was amazing. Very cool vibe, great service, and brunch was awesome. Lots of variety on menu with red velvet pancakes, beignets, sausage and spinach scramble and freshly squeezed juices. Only compliant is coffee. We will come back. !!!! Best entree ordered by my 6 yr old - crepe filled french toast!! Yum
