This was my first visit and overly impressed with the food and great service. There are many menu options, so there shouldn't be an issue picking a dish out. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were the best I ever had and the Rib Eye and my co-worker had the Salmon on a wood plank. All was great!... More

Make reservations. I repeat, make reservations. Then, arrive and think about ordering everything on the menu because everything is wonderful. Even their hamburger is the best hamburger around. You must get the French toast though. It is so good! As long as you make reservations, you will have a fantastic experience.

We went to Sunday Brunch here and it was so fun. Be sure to make reservations very early for this restaurant. The food was fabulous and great presentation. Started with hot Beinguets and dipping sauces. I had Crab Benedict and someone had Bananas Foster French Toast. It was pricey but we were very pleased with our visit here. Will definitely... More

I was really surprised by how great this food was and for a great price! When I thought of this as a typical American restaurant, I was wrong because this actually puts those standards way up there! I definitely recommend you reserve your seat in advance because we got seated immediately; walk-ins had a long wait, so to us this... More

the ruben was excellent, the waffles too, ( tho the chicken was ordinary as was the gravy- a bit of a disappointment) the mac n cheese is way rich, and a meal in itself even tho a side to the entrée. 2 sunny side eggs, multigrain toast (+++) fresh tomatoes very good as a side and the apple chicken sausage... I'd read other reviews, heard people talking around town....then I had my op to visit Founding Farmers. I was blown away. Place looks hip, modern, great vibe. Menu was incredible....think local, with "cool twist"...like popcorn flavor of the day for an ap. I had goat cheese ravioli and chicken cutlet, very nice. Save room for dessert !! They look great,... We were recommended this restaurant by a local and it exceeded our expectations! Everything was unique tasty and presented beautifully. If I'm ever in DC again, I'll be sure to stop in at FF for a bite.

Went for a dinner after being recommended as being very good. The restaurant was full and told it was going to be an hour's wait - OK I was not about to try an find another restaurant at 7pm being a first time visitor to DC. Managed to get a nice of glass of Tera D'oro Zinfanfel $15 + $1.50... More

Hi there- Thank you for taking the time to write and share your feedback. From the overwhelming ambiance, to the underwhelming food, it sounds like we let you down and I really cannot apologize enough. After hearing so much about us we should exceeded your expectations, and proved we were worth any wait. I will be passing your comments to... More

I read great reviews so I definitely made it a destination while I was in DC. I heard there were long waits for a table so I opted to go around 2:30pm to avoid the lunch crowd. I couldn't believe how many people were waiting for a table. Luckily there was a space at the very end of the bar.... More
