Unique Burrito, Taco, and Quesadilla Options

It's hard to put a finger on exactly how to characterize this place. It's not Mexican nor Southwester, i's not run of the mill, nor mainstream, it's just unique and different in a fun, satisfying way. Menu options offer one of the more popular protein groups shrimp, pork, chicken, fish, and one... read more

You can choose from the specific options they have or make your own! It was quick and fresh. Healthy options. Very busy on Saturday nights makes it hard to get a table since you don't have a waiter/waitress (you order at the register)

Some reviewers call this a Mexican place. Although many of the dishes---from beaches in several countries---are wrapped in a taco, the food is decidedly not just Mexican! On my first visit, we had a fussy baby in tow and knew a leisurely meal was out of the question. We stopped into Surfside and ordered the Maui fish tacos and a... More

For an inexpensive, quick Mexican meal, this is a good place to try. I like their quesadillas a lot, especially the one called Belize (beef) and St. Croix (seafood). It is like a fast food place; you give your order and pay. You get a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready. Everything is really self service.

Ate here during a recent visit to Washington. We were staying at Holiday Inn Georgetown so restaurant was in easy reach. Ordering system a little confusing but counter staff helped with this. Food was tasty, freshly cooked and served without any delays.

Not the best Mexican food we've had, but definitely above average. We weren't expecting counter service but the ordering system was very effective and our food came out quickly. We had chips and salsa as an appetizer: the chips were unmemorable and too salty for our taste, but the homemade salsa was very good--carraway seeds in the mix? My entree... More

I ate here for dinner last week as some work colleagues had recommended it. We told the server that we'd never been there before and instead of offering suggestions or explaining the menu, they just stared at us. We placed our order and they barely made eye contact with us. We took our seats and waited for quite a long... More

This was just a few hundred yards from our hotel, so very convenient. There were lots of interesting choices on the menu, and while the prices were a bit higher than I might prefer, it was not unreasonable. This is an order-at-the-counter place, and everything was wonderfully fresh.

What used to be a great concept with decent food is not a a great concept with frankly bad food. The chips (for which they charge $3.95 for a small size) come straight out of a bag and are stale. The taste of the salsa is not recognizable. And one of my dinner companions could not eat his burrito because... More
