So this place is very quaint. Great food, but slow service, and seemingly unhappy wait staff. However, its the best sushi in DC I have found so far but I have only been to one other place and I have a year to keep trying new places!

I was in DC for a conference. Needed a place to eat lunch. This is a superb place for lunch. Casual environment. Food service was fast and portions were filling. Quality was excellent. Fried dumplings were wonderful.

I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed your meal at our restaurant, Phil! Sounds like the fried dumplings hit the spot -- always a great choice. We hope you'll visit us again if you're ever in DC for another conference! All the best, Victor, Restaurant Management More

Like many of the places on China Town, this one does not look like anything special. But I go there every time I am in DC. Good Sushi, Japanese Dishes, Chinese also. Can't go wrong here. All good. Seems to be a family run place

Place is dark and somewhat dirty. The food is incredibly commercial and not well made. You are better off at New Big Wong for Chinese and the Japanese place across the street if you want Japanese.

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with your meal. If there was anything you wanted re-made or substituted, I wish you'd have mentioned it to us in the moment. We would've been more than happy to work with you on it. Thank you for taking the time to reach out with feedback. I know first impressions can be hard... More

This is a place I randomly chooses from the Chinatown. I thought It is the combination of Chinese and Japanese good, but actually not! This place is mainly served Japanese food, plus not delicious! Sushi is fine, but others are not typical Japanese cushion. This place decorated like Chinese restaurant, but it served Japanese food, just don't feel right! Definitely... More

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a better experience, Ruohan. We serve an extensive menu that we feel offers the best of Japanese cuisine, which is our main focus when it comes to our food. I really wish you would've let your server know about the issues with your dish because we would've happily made amends. That said, I... More

A nice place in DC's Chinatown with several advantages, including a wide menu with something for almost everyone, moderate prices, and good happy-hour specials. Vegetarians will be happy here, and vegans can get by here. The sushi is quite good, especially for the price. Customers were about 1/3 DC after-work crowd, 1/3 older Chinese couples and families, and 1/3 tourist.... More

Thank you for the great review! I'm glad you enjoy the variety on our menu! It's great hearing you love taking advantage of our happy hour prices too -- I always think a cold beer goes great with some Chinese food. Hope to see you again soon for a cold one and some shrimp dumplings! Warm regards, Victor, Restaurant Management More

We had lunch at the Chinatown location on the day we visited Ford's Theatre and the Petersen house, making the restaurant part of our "Lincoln" day. It's close enough from the theatre to walk. Other than the plaque outside, one would never know this was a historical building. I would have liked to see more of the history and connection... More

Thanks for noticing the plaque! You can't seem to walk a mile around DC without hitting a historical building, right? I'm glad we were close enough for you walk to while you were sightseeing and that you had a great meal at our place. Thank you for this great review, and I hope you come by again whenever you visit... More

I was looking for a new place downtown to meet with a friend when I saw the groupon deal for this restaurant. This is one of two Wok and Roll locations and I'd seen the one in Adams Morgan before and thought it looked quite nice. This one however is located on the edge of Chinatown, looking rather shabby from... More

Thank you for reaching out with feedback on here, I appreciate hearing what you liked and what could be improved on. It's great hearing you enjoyed your meal, but I wish you had said something in the moment about the spice because it would've been no problem at all to fix it for you. We can always adjust the spice... More

The food is great and the prices are reasonable. Go on Groupon and you get $20 worth of food for $12. Truthfully, it's worth the $20.
