Their burgers, fries and shakes are SOO good. I live in DC and Good Stuff is within walking distance of my house! I always get the farm burger, with the fries. They have different kinds of mayonnaise-- at first I was weirded out by the different varieties of mayo, especially mango mayonnaise, but it turned out to be my absolute... more

Fantastic balance between gourmet and hearty. Herbed village fries go great with mango mayo or dipped in their dulce de leche shakes. more

We walked here from the Capitol building (uphill after sightseeing all morning/early afternoon). It was a bit of a walk and we were exhausted and starving by the time we got there. But, it was so worth it. Great burgers and awesome fries... neither of which tasted at all greasy. Spike (owner, he was on Top Chef) was there chatting... more

The food was good and the service was quick for how many people were in line. All of my party's burgers were great and the fries were unique but good. Service was nice; we were offered extra seating outside and owner made a point to check on his customers. Overall, nice experience. more

I don't know about you, but when I travel I like to go where the locals go. And it was easy to see that Good Stuff Eatery was popular with local DC people, especially professional-looking Capitol Hill types. It's a line-up-place-your-order-pay-and-get-a-pager type of place. No table service here. Another reason for its popularity is that one of the owners is... more

It's always nice to see a place that does a few items and try to excel in them. There's nothing particularly creative about the burger combinations--they're safe bets that you've seen a million times before. The most creative expressions are the mayos at the condiment bar (sriracha, chipotle, old bay & mango) and the shakes. But indulgence gives way to... more

The burgers are good, the fries are great, but the milkshakes are outstanding. The texture is perfect, allowing for consumption via a straw without caving in your eardrums or collapsing your straw. The taste of the Toasted Marshmallow shake captures the sweet marshmallow creaminess and the smokey hint of a fire roasted treat. I will go back every time I'm... more

We tried this gem on our trip to DC and it really did not disappoint us. Yes it was a bit busy but we came in right at the end of luch hour. My son had the $10 lunch sack (cheesburger, fries and drink) and we all had various hamburgers. I did have to try the toasted marshmallow shake (thanks... more

I like the idea of this place. However when we went the wait was fairly long especially considering we wanted take out and when we got the food the amount of grease, particularly on the fries was incredible. The rosemary and salt flavourings looked good but the greasiness made the whole thing unappetising and we ended up unable to finish.... more

After recommendations from those "in the know" on a Trip Advisor forum, we decided to give this spot a try while in the Capitol Hill area. We went around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon and even though all the outside tables were filled and many people were waiting for their orders at the entrance, we didn't have to wait to... more
