Stumbled upon this restaurant years ago, and every time I make a business trip to the area, I make time to indulge in their organic salads, omelettes, and especially their coffee. The cheese platter is also a great treat and reminiscent of true European specialty cheeses. Service tends to be slow, but it gives guests time to truly appreciate the... More

We kind of stumbled upon La Pain Quotidien by accident, but it ended up being an ok experience. The food was actually quite delicious- after we finally got it. Our seat was kind of crammed in a corner, but it was by windows, so it didn't feel cramped. My recommendations are the smoked salmon tartine and to pass this spot... More

I went here with my young son, wife and sister-in-law for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we chose to sit outside in the back, which has a great garden-like atmosphere tucked away in this Georgetown restaurant. The food was great, especially the awesome omelette and the spreads for the breads. Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow. It took... More

We walked by this place and it caught our eye, walked to the place we intended to eat and turned back because of selection. We thought the food was very good, staff very friendly but the service was very very slow. We received our meal in pieces. First we received the pastries, then we received our silverware and finally received... More

I had a 2% latte with an extra shot in combination with a chocolat bar (Speculoos)(fairtrade!!!!). This combination was perfect for a Thursday evening after dinner coffee.

Good coffee and danish. Interesting group. Communal table makes for good conversation and eavesdropping. Students working on a project and some brainstorming going on. Menu looks very interesting and worth a trip back for lunch or dinner.

Great place for a light lunch on the edge of Georgetown. Thoroughly enjoyed the six vegetable tart, which comes with a small side salad. Perfectly hit the spot, and I felt relatively healthy doing so. Friendly service, love the common table option, too. Almost tempted by the pastries, too. If I had less willpower, one of those raspberry tarts would... More

This place was so good we ate breakfast and came back later for an evening snack. The mint lemonade was amazing and the apricot tartlets to die for. Can't wait to go back and try lunch. This is right down the street from the Verizon Center and was a feel good snack. Lots of organic and gluten free items. Delicious!

Brunch was wonderful. And they have a jar of chocolate spread in the jam/jelly rack. We had light fluffy omelets, excellent coffee and fast service. Did I forget to mention that they have a jar of chocolate spread in the jam/jelly rack? Spread some on your croissant and you will be thinking about it for the rest of the day.

Great option for breakfast and lunch in the Georgetown area. A friend and I were looking for a breakfast place and couldn't find much in the area. The food and service were very good.
