Et Voila is consistently good. mussels are always fresh and well prepared. The seating is close and neighborly rather than quiet and intimate.

Oh, how we love Et Voila! This is our "go to" neighborhood restaurant with visiting family and friends. Et Voila! has a cozy, unassuming atmosphere, excellent food, and an experienced, professional waitstaff. The menu, with modern interpretations of Belgian and French classics, has something for everyone. I actually think that the food, which has always been excellent, has gotten even... More

With great positive anticipation, I made a reservation for 3 at Et Voilà, on Macarthur Boulevard, Washington D.C., to celebrate my husband's 70th Birthday. It took a good 15mn before we could get a menu. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. What I was first served was definitely NOT Pinot Grigio and was warm. I returned and got what... More

Really nice welcome by the wait staff. Our waitress was a joy. Two of us for dinner in a packed long room. We had the ramp soup which was served chilled. Really refreshing, healthy and deep green. Came with dollops of garlic parmsean cream floating on top. We both had the Belgian ale stew. Trio of ice creams and chocolate... More

Four of us had dinner at Et Voila on a Friday night in Spring. The joint was jumpin' despite no music. We got a table at the back where it was a bit more quiet. Excellent mussels dishes, good onion soup, no one had a bad meal, though the seafood stew (that I did not taste myself) was reported to... More

This is a little neighborhood restaurant, very crowded the night we went. The layout is long and thin with hard surfaces, with tables set close together, so it is noisy. But the service is friendly and helpful, and our food was very good. Three of us had the lamb shank special--sort of an ossobuco but with lamb. The meat melted... More

We have been there several times. Often we both get the steamed mussels that are available with several different seasonings. This time the mussels were large tender ones from Nova Scotia and a large serving of about 30. We have lived in France and often visited Belgium and the dishes here taste just like good restaurants over there. If you... More

Et Voila is located out of Washington's downtown, in the Palisades. We are locals, and enjoy it more than any other DC restaurant. Lovely service and carbonnade to die for.

My wife and I had been wanting to come to this neighborhood bistro for a long time, and after finally making it here it did not disappoint at all. The cozy, intimate and minimalist decor takes a back seat to the fine food and service. You can't go wrong with a pot of mussels and pommes frites or the delicious... More

We have loved "Mussels in Brussels" so thought we would try this. It was perfect! Small, super staff, good beers and wine, and excellent moulies! We shared escargot appetizer and had mussels mariniere and pastis with frites naturally. We will be back!!
