Belgium is home to some of the best restaurants in the world, and the majority are a family affair. No different at Et Voila where the owner is the chef and making sure what comes out of the kitchen meets his high standards. The restaurant feels like an authentic European neighborhood restaurant with a team that has been there for... More

First, the restaurant is in a charming neighborhood with lots of parking available on the streets nearby. The ambiance is pure Belgian or French bistro - lots of noise and very pretty. Went recently with my wife and another couple, and we all thought that the place was really very good. I couldn't resist having French onion soup, followed by... More

Love this little restaurant which reminds me so much of Belgian bistros! The moules avec frites are excellent. I try to get there as often as I can. Had lunch there today and am ready to go back! Great atmosphere, slow service (but OK), excellent food. Make reservations as they seem to be always crowded.

Upon the recommendation of friends who live in this quaint neighborhood, a friend and I had a good meal at the bar. We chose not to sit in the rear dining area as it is very cramped. The food was good and Belgian beer hit the spot. There is a little seating outside which was already occupied or we would... More

Et Voila was always heavily booked for the four nights we stayed in the neighbourhood, we were lucky to get in at late notice on a Thursday as the locals seem to want to keep it a well-kept secret. The actual restaurant reminded us of a typical Parisian restaurant, small and narrow but with the maximum use of space. The... More

On a recommendation from friends we tried ET Voila ,Located in a very quiet neighborhood on Macarthur Blvd. We didn't know what to expect from the outside as it was so small and quiet, once inside it was obvious that this restaurant was a popular choice for many of the locals and repeat happy customers, with only approx. 25 seats... Friends planned our splendid dinner for 4 at Et Voila! during our recent vacation in the DC area. We shared two appetizers to start off the evening: the warm goat cheese and the red heirloom beet salad. The two dishes complemented each other beautifully. Our friends ordered mussels which one presumes is one of the more popular items on the... More

Went there with two friends for brunch. We all loved our dishes - my quiche was one of the best I have had recently. Stole some of my friends fries and they were great - the test of a good Belgian place. I really liked the decor - felt very European. The service was good. Don't know how if would... More

On the fourth time here, they kind of struck out. We were seated next to a VIP travel table of six - which was horribly loud. They forgot one of the four entrees - bringing it when the other were 2/3 done. And to add insult to injury they squeezed two table where there was one - halfway through dinner... More

When I want a cosy, quaint place to go, I go to Et Voila. The food is fairly authentic (Belgian) and the atmosphere is pleasant. I've been a half dozen times and feel like this is one of my go-to places in the D.C. area. The hangar steak is a favorite as are the mussels. Don't be surprised if you... More
