We decided to eat at the ICI while spending the night in the Sofitel. It was raining pretty heavy that night we didn't want to walk or grab a cab. It was a Thursday night, our dinner was at 8:00 it was very quiet only two other small tables were occupied in the restaurant. Don't hate me but I love... More

We enjoyed a pre-theatre dinner here. The drinks were marvelous, and the dinner was fantastic! Great french-onion soup, and the filets were incredible! Kind, attentive service; wonderful atmosphere; great food. What's not to like?

We ate in this restaurant out first evening because we were travel-weary and it was so good we came back our third night and ordered the same entree: the Chesapeake rockfish which was a truly outstanding entree. We also chose to eat breakfast here every day: the croissants are as good as any in France.

The staff was super nice, and very efficient. But all in all, the decor was cold and there wasn't really anything special about it. It's the kind of place where families staying at the hotel go to eat with their kids, rather than a place you'd go for a special meal. If you're tired and don't want to leave the... More

I stayed at the Sofitel hotel with my 16 month old baby and ate there almost every day 3 times a day. The food, service, and staff are excellent. I was treated like a queen. Highly recommend this place and hotel. it is a bit expensive but it's across the street from the main places ( the White house, Washigton... More

The food is quite nice and I especially like the healthy options available. The bread is fantastic. Food preparation is usually impeccable. Nonetheless, maybe because I've ended up eating here so many times, I feel the menu has to be a bit broader or change more often. Service is usually pretty good. P.S. the above is for dinner. Breakfast here... More

Located in DC's Sofitel Hotel, this bistro with a French flair offered excellent service and very good food--loved the pumpkin ravioli, and my companions loved the sampler plate. The atmosphere was at once comfortable and sophisticated. The service could not have been better. Prices quite fair.

Wonderful environment with excellent customer service. But, isn't wine by the glass at $18 on the very pricey side! Food prices are ok and well prepared. The onion soup needs more gruyere cheese. Otherwise, the broth is flavorful.
