Tryst is a great spot to take your laptop and get some work done. The coffee and espresso drinks are good, and the food that I've had (gazpacho, hummus platter) is quite good too. The servers are attentive and come around frequently to check on you and see if you need anything else. This place is always busy and is... More

Great coffee shop and brunch spot. I hade the chaipaccino which was delish with little animal crackers on the side. I also enjoyed the turkey sandwich with avocado and red peppers very good as well. The service was attentive even on the patio! Adams Morgan in General seeks to be more of a "free spirited" bar scene and I would... More

My boyfriend and I visit Tryst anytime we come to DC. It is the perfect coffee house in my eyes. They have delicious coffee and a fantastic atmosphere. We always talk about how if we ever moved to DC we would be there every day! My favorites are the cuban coffee and the honey cinnamon scones. Try them!

If you're looking for a casual cafe, this is a fantastic place to sit, have a latte, and read the paper. A nice place that's hidden in Adams Morgan - off the beaten path - where native DCers come to relax.

If you are looking for a coffee shop with a vibe, this is it. Not overly trendy or hipster, just casual and cool. Coffee is roasted by counter culture and they have several single origin options. The menu was was pretty eclectic and seems like you could find a good option no matter what you like. I had a ham... More

Quirky little coffee shop cafe for having a yummy sandwich or salad and great place to park and get on internet. Very hip and laid back atmosphere.

If you want a place to tottally relax, be able to talk for hours without being rushed, have wonderful food and drink-this is it! Sofas galore, they opened the windows since it was a beautiful day and the breeze was heavenly. The place was buzzing on a Saturday afternoon. I met my daughter there so we could get caught up... Girls night out landed me at this delightful little coffee house. The place was cozy with a homely kind of feel to it. The spinach dip was nicely prepared the cheesecake was yummy and we received exceptional service. The bar tender did tender proper libations as well!! We'll see this place again...

We came here for a few hours to enjoy the drinks in the sun while happy hour was on. The ambience was very nice, the table service was good (although it did take 10 mins or so each time I ordered a beer for it to arrive at the table) and the price was reasonable. However it's worth noting the... More
