Great place for lunch!

I went here on a Sunday afternoon, it's a great place to just have lunch, coffees and work a bit or read a book. Good atmosphere and very friendly service!

I've been here before for coffee and tea. But today I went for pastries. It was impossible to get a seat, it was crowded. I ordered a slice of apple caramel pie and coconut pie. Both were delicious. Not too sweet. Coffee is also very good.

Well, if this is what you are looking for, this is the BMW of coffee bars. Let me say, right off, their coffee and food and baked goods and even their gratis doggie treats are top of the line. Their coffee is so good, this is where I buy my beans by the pound. Old sofas, tables and chairs are... More

They have good coffee and mulled wine. It is an urban place which people could feel comfortable when it is not too crowded.it has soft furnishings as well as wooded tables and chair. Interesting thing is sometimes you might have to sit very close to a stranger because there is only the big table left to sit.Overall, it is a... More

This is the type of Cafe/lounge that suits any occasion, you can have your huge mug of coffee while doing some work, you can dine with friends or have a casual business meeting. Love the ambiance and it's quality product.

When u think of cafe in DC..... This would be the spot. Great atmosphere and a variety of cultures and people mixing and mingling. I love the atmosphere. It had energy and laughter. The music is at the right volume to allow you to have a conversation. Absolutely would go back and back. The food was prompt and great quality.... More

This place is pretty busy for a weekday. It very much a coffee shop that serves good food and coffee and has a bar. Most people there are just hanging out with their laptops, making the place too crowded to dine in. It's like a "trend" to just sit there and sip coffee with the laptop. I did not like... More

We were in from NYC and came for brunch and drinks. It is a great chill spot for relaxing on the unmatching sofas. It was a first for me to be at a coffeehouse that serves cocktails but it was fantastic. The atmosphere was lively and the food was great (try the brie). The cocktails were good as well. Definitely... More

We were looking for a place in Adams Morgan for coffee and a rest and we found it at Tryst. It's a big place, with lots of places to perch (couches, chairs, tables, etc.) even when very crowded on the weekend. If you sit, a waiter will serve you. We stayed for quite awhile, reading and lazing about, and nobody... More
