My family and I have been coming here over the years when in the area as part of our vacation tradition. It's a great restaurant and gift shop. The bridge toll you pay at the toll booth prior to getting there has climbed and it's a little steep when you just want to get to Chesapeake Grill and don't plan... More

The gift shop doesn't look like much from the outside but they have a ton of gifts, a local wine shop, and a little eating area. We didn't eat that day but did pick up some gifts for the nieces. Staff was very friendly and the restrooms were clean. Great place to walk around outside and see the full view... More

Stopped here after 8 hours in the car. We honestly would not have cared how the food was. We were just glad to be out of the car. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for a place that could be just a tourist trap. We had the shrimp appetizer, which was crispy, hot and juicy. Entrees... More

Stop here for a unique experience looking out over the Chesapeake Bay. The gift shop has a singularly wide range of wines and beers crafted in Virginia, as well as art and toys and other memorabilia. We didn't eat in the restaurant or get ready to serve foods from the cafe. The prices were too steep!! If you can wait... More

Being extremely cautious after receiving an icy, rude greeting from the hostess about us wanting a waterview table, our moods quickly lightened after being greeted by our waitress "Michelle". She was charming, perky, friendly, professional and very helpful. Her suggestions of entrees and amenities were spot on and we felt like we were sharing lunch with a long lost friend.... More

The Chesapeake Grill is located on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The view of the Bay is beautiful and the food is outstanding. Moderately priced. We enjoyed both the seafood and the chopped barbeque. The side dishes were equally good. OK, so the toll for the Bridge Tunnel is a little steep at $13.00. Make a full day outing and... More

We had breakfast here. The crab omelette was outstanding. Other breakfasts were very good. Highly recommend as an interesting place to eat overlooking the water.

The food was okay and priced a little high. But it was worth it to get great seats to watch the ships come and go from the Bay to the ocean.

We always plan to stop here when crossing the Chesapeake Bay on our first leg of the trip to Florida. This is about the third year that we make this stop and we are always looking forward to it. It is in the middle of the bridge and a sharp U turn will get you into the parking lot.It could... More
