Excellent and Eccentric - don't miss it!

If you eat nowhere else, eat here - if you can get a table! The décor and table ware are simply outstanding - Victorian glassware and china, silver plate cutlery - honestly its an amazing place! We had a lovely meal here on Christmas night 2014. It is a very old world classy place, old crystal glasses & cutlery, linen tablecloths and waiters in suits. The food was beautiful, slightly above the norm re price but worth it for the ambience and surroundings.

The actual restaurant is fascinating. The owner collects glass and pottery and every inch of the place is filled with his collection, even the dining tables. He is very friendly and excited to show off his collection and discuss it with you. Once space was made on our table for food the meal we had was excellent. Fresh lobster dishes... More

The owner of this restaurant collected lots of China and wine glasses in the right moment to expose and use it later in her paladar. What a great experience to dine like the king or the queen of all caribbean islands. The food is nice, the wines lovely, and you certainly can afford it - the prices are reasonable.

The place is fantastic! The decoration reminds you of the colonial time of the Cuban aristocracy. The dishes, the cutlery, the glasses and the portraits on the wall make the restaurant unique. To complete, the food is really tasteful and the drinks are perfect. Even though the food is a little overpriced, it definetly worth the experience.

Beautiful restaurant, great staff, great food. It's like walking into themost fabulous antique shop. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Cuba, booked this place as we were in Trinidad on the actual day and wanted somewhere special to go for our meal....I had checked out places on TA before leaving home. Great recommends given and can only confirm what... More

Apart from the incredible decor (different full china, glassware and cutlery sets for each table, crammed with more beautiful tableware, plants and furniture, open air courtyard, live music, even a romantic hideaway for two), the service was amazing. We were greeted with free shots of rum, and such a pleasant host so we made reservations for the 6 of us... More

My wife and I loved this place. Tables were adorned with Victorian china and cutlery. The service was the best we had all trip. The young waiter was sooo helpful. Food was lovely, we had the lobster Cajun style. We didn't want to leave

We had reservations for 10 people on Christmas Eve. As we approached the restaurant, the owner was outside with champagne and a small band. We sipped champagne and listened to great music before entering this fabulous paladar. With such a lively greating we expected a fabulous evening and we were not dissappointed. A beautiful formal table was set in the... More

Our group of 19 lunched here and spent nearly 3 delightful hours eating delicious food (the biggest lobster I've ever seen!), drinking the best mojitos and enjoying the live trio of musicians who succeeded in getting all of our group up and dancing! The owner and his wife were the sweetest people ever and the entire staff was incredible. They... More
