We had such a romantic dinner here! The staff hustled to clean up the courtyard after an evening thunderstorm so that we could dine outside. The food, the music, the staff were amazing. The professional dancers got us up to dance as well. The top highlight of our trip to Cuba.

Sitting on the gently rising street towards the steps, this restaurant was full of interesting little touches. These included the fine crockery on each table and the taxi dancer who invited ladies to join him to dance between the tables. Each table was crammed full of interesting tableware. The dining area was quite small but a large open doorway onto... More

Our group of 8 all had raves for our experience at Restaurante Museo. Some reasons why: - The interior is lovely, a delight for the eyes - The service professional and friendly, and not slow/never rushed - The music was right there, with dancers, yet it was not loud and obtrusive like in most restaurants in town - The lobster... We were walking the streets of Trinidad and heard lovely cuban music from outside a restaurant. We stopped and were offered a cordial glass (beautiful ageless crystal) filled with excellent rum, meanwhile the 5 piece band continued to play. One of our group was encouraged to dance with the two professional dancers and she quickly joined them. This began a... More

This was definitely one of the best dinners I had. What a location, great food, amongst friends and lots of 'ambiance', atmosphere. And if this was still not enough, outside, a severe thunderstorm was raging. The full interior is well choosen Kitch, but it is marvellous when you see all these terrific tables. The speciality of the house is lobster,... More

A fascinating restaurant. There is beautiful old china, glass and silverware everywhere, including on the dining tables. A friendly greeting, interesting cocktails, delicious and copious fish special (lobster, prawns, other fish and vegetables) homemade ice creams, good but unobtrusive service sitting in a lovely courtyard setting with excellent live music and a great atmosphere. What more could you want for... More

We asked for a table in the corner for a romantic meal when we booked and that is exactly what we got. The waitress's service was impeccable and the music was like all Cuban music - first class! The food was very good and complemented the wonderful atmosphere.

This private paladar is amazing! It is filled with crystal, silver and china from a bygone era. The staff is extremely attentive and the food was delicious. The wine was 'off' - but that happened a lot in Cuba! The drinks/cocktails were delightful though! They have a small group playing music every night. The evening we were there, a couple... More

the ambience is stunning. you feel like you stepped back in time. beautifully laid out with old crockery and beautiful glasses. we sat in th courtyard which was very romantic but I would go for the living room. Make sure you have plenty of time as the food takes ages. Some of it is very good, some mediocre.
