Lovely privately-owned restaurant just off of Plaza Major in old town. Beautifully restored colonial building that is filled with antiques and beautiful art. Staff is very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Food was very good- fresh, tasty, and properly prepared. The entire meal was enjoyable, served at an appropriate pace, prices were quite reasonable for an upscale dining experience, and wine... More

The food was really good and each room and piece inside was unique. Live music as we came to expect in Trinidad did not disappoint. All in all, a great place to go, fantastic atmosphere, great service and really tasty food.

One of the busiest restaurants in Trinidad and we certainly enjoyed the food. Prices as to be expected as it caters for tourists, not the locals. Surprisingly enough, some other people arrived 30 mins later than their booking to find that the table had been given away, so maybe this is the only place in Cuba where you have to... More

I was fortunate to find Sol Ananda for dinner on a recent visit to Trinidad, Cuba. The service was warm and friendly. I felt very welcome. The restaurant is just off the Plaza Mayor area of the Historic District. It is in a family home, the outside is painted green. The decor is wonderful, lots of interesting pieces and antiques.... Visited the Sol Ananda during a stay in Trinidad. Restaurant it well located on the main square and during a walk around the previous day, a Sunday, we noticed it was very busy. Visiting on the Monday it was much quieter and I have to admit the service was slow, thus the lower rating. However, it was a beautiful restaurant... More

Another prior reservation that went astray! It was Christmas Day, so we went at midday to check our evening booking, but they had no record! They said it was not uncommon for reservations to be "lost", but as the restaurant was full they kindly offered us a metal garden table and chairs in a small courtyard. We enjoyed our food... More

When you enter the restaurant it is like a jump into a different century. Each room is individually equipped with furniture, deco elements and porcelain from the 18th century. It seems to be a museum. Even the bed from the former wife is still there. The building from 1750 is directly located at the Plaza Major. The menu offers both... More

I am so glad I came to this restaurant it showed me what Cuba coulud be and I hope as it develops will become. The owner has made an effort with decor - it is artistic Service is polite and skilled (not all cuba is happy smiley service you have to cross grim soviet russian scowl with latin temperament to... A family owned restaurant in the oldest house in town. A nice walk from anywhere to the center of town. Staff had some problems with English but were very accommodating. When flys were bothering us early in the evening, they offered to move us to the air conditioned wine cellar--even though we hadn't complained. Menu has a bit of an... More
