Very tasty, beautiful setting

I really enjoyed our visit to La Ceiba. We got a bici-taxi up and were pleased by the beautiful setting. Sit outside if you have the option. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was very good too. I had honeyed chicken and a mojito. Both were very well prepared.

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting, in the back garden of a house which has a 100 year old cedar tree in the garden. The menu is actually a bit different from the usual meat/fish/rice options that you get in most places, and the food was delicious. Service was good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant is at the back of a house. Beautiful location and view. As the name suggests there is a massive tree which adds to the restaurants character. We visited with a group of 7 people. Food was well prepared. I had lobster and we all shared the honeyed chicken (the specialty). Staff were helpful and friendly. Not that it was... More

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B owner for the first night in Trinidad. The Cuban weather, for April, was unusually hot, and the roof top restaurant was lovely and cool as sun set. This is a popular dining spot and well deserved. Waiters were attentive, menu interesting and diverse, dinner delicious.

This is a nice place to eat. The first night we went with the whole group (17 people) and everyone really enjoyed it. The second night we decided to come back and taste some of the dishes that some other people had the first night. We were not dissapointed. The food is just very nice here and a nice view... More

This has to be one of the prettiest places that we have ever had the pleasure of having lunch at! The 100 year old tree is simply gorgeous and this entire place is constructed entirely around it. My husband and I each had a canchánchara for 2.50 CUCs, the local cocktail specialty of this area... www.haveataste.net/trinidads-drink-the-canchanchara/ to begin our leisurely... More

Let's go. The place is beautiful and well decorated. If there no tables available have a drink at the ground floor and watch the chef and his helpers prepare the plates. Have a seat at the terrace and take a look at the tree that's over 100 years old. The stuff is pleasant, speaks good English and is very helpful.... More

We were brought here with a tour and we were supposed to be seated in a lovely outdoor area. Unfortunately it started raining and they quickly changed to indoor seating. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and we enjoyed talking with them after the meal. The food was wonderful and the setting lovely especially if you can be outside... More

How is this restaurant currently number 38? The food was the best we had in Cuba! The honey chicken - sitting outside under the tree in the middle of the restaurant area - the lobster - a tremendous meal! There was 14 of us and we all came out raving about it!

We had a lovely meal. The food was good. The portions are smaller than the norm in Cuba, but we didn't mind. The outdoor setting is very nice.
