Great place to have breakfast.

We noticed that this place was always full at breakfast and lunchtimes with locals .,so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed at all. The portion were large and the food cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and efficient. This was a great place to have breakfast!

A Little café with great food in the middle of High street. The quality is high standard. We had lunch before taking the ferry up north. If you have the time, eat here instead of the ferry. The quality is much much better. It was bustling wiht people, but we had a table quick. The pie with thai curry and... More

Lovely little cafe with excellent coffee and delicious slices plus service with a smile. Family and traveller friendly. The breakfasts looked great with lots of locals drifting in and out. Would definitely recommend it especially if you are an Australian craving Australian style coffee.

Fantastic fresh mussels in a flavoursome tomato broth -- about 12-13 in their shells, served in a big bowl with spoon and fork, and herb-buttered french bread on the side. I'm a big fan of mussels and these were superior so returned next day for a repeat identical lunch. Didn't try anything else but it all looked good.

They don't serve dinner but it has a casual look, very kind service, and a good breakfast. The patio is on the street but for breakfast it has morning sun and the traffic is light.

Went for a late breakfast with my wife. Despite being very busy the service was prompt and helpful. We had the "Morning Glory" breakfast, and were pleasantly surprised to learn we could have a "half portion" if we weren't that hungry. The food arrived quickly, was nicely presented, and was very reasonably priced. A great little cafe, buzzing, but friendly... More

Good coffee and hearty breakfast, friendly staff. Prices were quite high, but that seemed typical of New Zealand.

We had breakfast here. We both had eggs and toast. The eggs were very funny and served on top of the toast so the toast was soggy by the time it arrived at our table. The eggs had large chunks of uncooked scallions inside that were tough to chew. Staff was very friendly.
