Cosy wee nook!

Popped into this cosy little pub to watch the Super 15 final. Made new friends, ate great pizza, had beer and watched the Highlanders win! It was a perfect chilly Saturday night location for all of the above!

By far the best food my partner and I ate in Picton, during a winter weekend away. A delightful Irish-American mash-up, nowhere else in the township has nearly as much character or charm. (What's not to love about a place that pours a stellar Guineas but whose owner is also passionate about his homemade pizza dough? A panacea to all... More

We stopped in at the Irish on our last night. I wish we had come here on our first. The Pepperoni Pizza was amazing. So good we had two. The dough made fresh onsite everyday makes a difference. There's a nice small bar atmosphere here. A log fire in winter makes for a time. Next time we're in town we... More

Perfect spot on a winter night. Cosy with a log fire....best pizza I've had in years. I think the home-made base is the secret. So pleased we found this bar....

Defiantly a must see when you visit the south island. Chilled, welcoming and friendly environment with a blazing fire and a wide variety of great drinks. Highlight was the homemade pizza made specially by Neil on the dot!

A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere as soon as we walked through the door. Neil's freshly made pizza dough was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening after a long day of travel.

After hiking all day on the Snout track and exploring Picton surroundings, we arrived thirsty in the afternoon and headed straight to the Seamus Irish Bar, which we had spotted a night before. You can't possible miss it since it has a very authentic exterior design and appealing vibe. On that particular afternoon, the place was not crowded, we had... More

Very very helpful with wifi- and with tips on what to do and where to go on the North Island. My friend and I were traveling from the South Island to the North and ended up buying a pizza to go because the ingredients sounded so good. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in quite a long... More

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and a pint! The pizza is delicious- the best I have had in New Zealand. The owner is so nice and welcoming, and the pub is cozy and has a nice fire ( visited in June). Also close to the waterfront views! I highly recommend stopping here in Picton!
