Small pub, the service and meals were good. We ordered the guinness pie (which was nice but a little smaller and watery than Im use to) and the lamb shank which was huge and tasty.

There is nothing like a quaint Irish Pub. In the true Irish Tradition the welcome was friendly, the servings generous and the price made it good value. The atmosphere is very Irish authentic as you would expect with Irish memoriabilia. A must visit when in Picton. Slainthe!!!

My partner and I had dinner here after being recommended by our accommodation and it was pretty good. There is some delicious dry cider on tap too ! The salmon was very fresh and a large portion and the lamb shank quite tasty. The decor is very authentic ,3 seperate rooms ,so if there is loud music in one you can... More

The food was rather ordinary - the lamb shanks quite tasteless, the mash lumpy and the gravy was probably from a package. Worse still, our name on the bill was listed as 'older couple'! How rude! Was another couple described as 'older still' and another 'oldest'. Perhaps the couple at the next table were 'baldy and fat lady'. I think... More

The young female bar attendant gave us excellent service. One of the few venues which provide live entertainment. A cosy pub.

Visited here on our first evening in Picton. Lovely surroundings, quite authentic of a traditional Irish bar. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We were not really hungry but had a light snack and a couple of drinks. Nice food, fair prices. We will be going again whilst we are staying in Picton. Recommended.

My wife and I went in for nostalgic reasons. A pub that serves Irish coffee anyway but like the real McCoy. No refunds nor alternative provided when coffees were rejected. No apology. NZD27 for 2 and down the drain.

Terry Lubotsky The team at Seumus's does everything right! From an enticing and fun atmosphere, to fantastic, friendly staff members, to a caring, "hands-on" owner, to excellent food, this unique pub in Picton is THE place to go! I was so impressed when I visited in November. I ordered the King Salmon for dinner and it was the best piece... More

We arrived at Picton while on a cruise aboard the Seabourn Odyssey. It was a great opportunity to have some local food and drink. The Green Lipped Mussels were very good and accompanied by several NZ Sav Blancs. The Irish Beef Hotpot was excellent, and washed down with super cold pints of Guiness. Bar service was very friendly, and typical... More
