As regular visitors to Picton over the past few years we have tried all of the fish and chip shops in town and Waikawa and have decided that this one is the best. As noted the fish prices aren't cheap, but then nor are the other outlets! This probably because Picton is a tourist town. It is worth paying a... More

Great food, my favourite is the battered blue cod well worth paying extra for it. Also love the battered oysters. The chip portions are really good value.

Better than any of the fish and chip shops in Blenheim, nice tarakihi although service this time wasn't as good as usual and portions were slightly smaller than what we have had previously.

Had take-out fish & chips here at the recommendation of our motel's owner. Fish fresh, batter light and crispy, sweet potato chips excellent. If you want good old fashioned fish & chips, look no farther.

Great standard fish and chips, a spot for the locals, when you need a fix to line the stomach after or before a day of wine tasting in Marlborough this is a great place for it, can do it for under 10$ and the seafood is not surprisingly fresh too.

Bit disappointed after reading great reviews about this place and looking for really good quality food down at the harbour. Sadly the food didn't live up to my expectations. Service was great and at least the staff were honest when asked if the fish was fresh. It wasn't and it was frozen. Not sure why at a place next to... More

Great fish and chips and only 50 meters from the waterfront to eat them. I honestly think these may have been the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Not the cheapest you will find but the extra cost is worth it when you get them - beautiful. Top tip - grab a bottle of local wine (amongst the best... More
