We really enjoyed our fish and chips. Delcious! We were not sure how to order and the friendly staff helped us pick.
Great little place that produces excellent fish and chips - had takeaway from here 2 nights and both times it was excellent. Reasonably priced but be prepared for a short wait as it gets very busy in the summer.
Yes the best fish & chips we have eaten in a long while. Succulent blue cod in a crisp batter and crisp chips with no residue oil in the wrapper. Must be new premises as everything was clean and well organised. Enjoyed eating in the splendid marina area which Picton must be proud of.

Had some fish and chips here. The mussels and oysters were large and well worth it. Great meal and far better than what we have back in Akaroa. Take it down to the water front, only 100m away, and sit on a bench while you watch the boats.
We were recommended this takeaway by one of the tour guides on an eco tour we went on. The Hoki battered fish was yummy and we ordered spicy wedges and kumera chips which were also nice. The staff were efficient at taking my order and the premises was very clean.

Great service, friendly young man working there who told me the best buy with the tomato sauce. Great Blue cod, cooked nice and crisp, crunchy chips and hot.
