Great Indian for reasonable price

We had a meal here when we arrived in Picton at the start of our holiday. We liked it so much that we went back for takeaways when we came back. Very nice service and great value for money!

I have eaten Indian food many times in many cities, but Plaza India was the best tasting by far. Everything was delicious, even their Indian tea, which I had never had before, but I will be sure to order it again. I had the chicken ticki masala and my friend had the lamb korma. Both were excellent, and I tried... More

We have been to lots of Indian restaurants but have rarely eaten food as bland and tasteless as this. The Rogan Josh came in a thin tomatoey sauce, it certainly hadn't seen any coriander as stated in the menu. We asked for medium but wonder what mild is as it certainly didn't have any heat in it. Service wasn't particularly... More

Friendly service, lovely food rich in flavor and freshly prepared. I rarely find such good Indian food in my area.

Good staff, poor food. This was very disappointing. The choice was limited and the food of poor quality. The children's curry was a tin of tomato soup with some chicken in it, the butter chicken was poor and the lamb, lousy. Not worth paying for.

Stopped in Picton for a few nights and visited this restaurant. We were all disappointed. The food was generally quite bland and the choice very limited. The service was good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful - shame about the food.

I've been here a few times because I'm local and been going through their vegetarian range because I stopped eating meat over the winter. Always greeted with a welcoming smile and looked after very well. All of the dishes I've tried are simmered in tasty sauces, but I keep on returning to their Daal Makhni which is very tasty, a... This is a BYO so you can bring your own bottle for a $5/person corking fee. The food was excellent and the service was great.
