This meal was superb. It was fine dinning at it's best. The chef is a genius and the food was exquisite. The service was great too. Very pricey but worth every cent. Recommend for a romantic occasion.

Beautiful restaurant, great options for children. The steak was amazing, very tender, but the highlight was definitely the desserts! Friendly waitstaff.

A night away in Akaroa during Winter on a Monday night leaves slim pickings if you want to dine out. Some eateries close for the quiet season, & others understandably choose that night to have off. Lucky for us Ma Maison was open. The waiter was friendly & attentive enough to be comfortable. Our table chose mains & desserts &... More

Tucked in by seascape and wharf this is a delightful spot. Food and service are good too as is the ambience of the restaurant. Well worth a visit when you are next in that delightful spot, Akaroa.

The restaurant has a nice ambience with log fire and lounge seating around it. The service is good. We ate at night so didn't see the view but it is right on the water's edge. The food was lovely - especially the duck pate!

Great quality food, great location and atmosphere, there is also plenty of parking nearby which is a bonus on a busy weakened. This is the second time my wife and I dined at this restaurant, the food is exceptional, probably the best in Akaroa. Our only negative comment would that you tend to wait a relatively long time for your... More

I had a lovely glass of wine in front of the roaring fire on Saturday afternoon. The happy hour wine was wonderful and the manager was engaging and welcoming! Will have to back for dinner next time!

Went here for lunch and we were not disappointed. I'd the spicy Turkish sandwich and my partner had the beef sandwich.. Both were absolutely delicious and we could not fault either. Prices are reasonable too compared with some other places around New Zealand. Recommended

We ate lunch here when our ship (Dawn Princess) stopped in Akaroa. Our understanding was that it was one of the nicer places in Akaroa which was certainly reflected in their prices. I ordered a fish and chips and my friend ordered a sandwich. The waiter took our order and promptly forgot about us. When I finally got his attention... More

Superb service. Excellent location. Delicious dining. Stunning sunsets. We have dined here many times,in parties varying between 6 to 20 and the food and service is always fabulous. It is always a pleasure to recommend to guests & friends.
