I enjoyed my lunch selection, be it on a busy holiday. Food was fresh and tasty and served promptly.

The food was what you can expect in Akaroa. The chicken and Brie pizza was delicious for $15. Jen makes a fantastic Chai latte. I went back four times for the fast and friendly service.

The food was OK, I can't fault it but at the same time it was nothing amazing but I did think it was on the pricey side for lunch for 3 people. We enjoyed it but we had eaten out at a few places over the holiday period and this would have been right in the middle of what we... More

Felt like some eggs at lunchtime. The Stables proudly displayed their brunch menu all day so we figured this was the place. Incorrect. My partner's scrambled eggs on toast arrived looking as though they'd already been ingested by another animal. Margarine starting to separate from the congealed mass of egg, which totaled around 2 tablespoons full for $15, squatting on... More

We had lunch here and as it was a cold day, ordered the chowder. I think it was certainly the best I have tasted. Big praise..pleasant staff too.

Lovely location. A delight to sit outside and enjoy a coffee and muffin. Both delicious. Liked it so much we went three times in two days.

In a lovely setting on the main street of Akaroa, especially outdoors in Summer watching the world go by. Very obliging, friendly staff and the best BLT (Bacon/lettuce/tomato) sandwich I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. My friend had the same with avocado added and found that tasty as well. Lovely spot to hang out!

Family coffee on a wet day. Had very average beverages served by a disinterested and loud staff member. Hated the wild west connections i.e the tatty John Wayne pictures and a burger named after him....lacks an identity and was 'fuggy' and characterless. Would really not wish to do that again!
