The tapas selection was a little puzzling, as most of it you wouldn't find in any restaurant in Spain. The service was dismal (waited five minutes for some one -ANYONE-to offer us a table, then waited a further ten minutes before someone acknowledge our presence and asked if we wanted drinks), the food ludicrously overpriced and almost laughably not tapas.... A friend introduced me to this courtyard taverna last night after we'd been to an art exhibition at Nyisztor Studio. Great ambience with delightful 3 or 4 piece band (double bass, flute, guitar and keyboard, I think). Service was good, food good and wine tasty. All around about was quiet in the streets but this hidden corner was humming. Two... More

I like this restaurant. The service is fantastic and I like the vibe but last night I found the food a little disappointing. If I had ordered the chef's special menu at $45 a head, I could have enjoyed chorizo, patatas bravas etc. but as my friends didn't want to do that I ended up with a paltry gratin dauphinoise... More

We enjoyed a great evening with friends last night. The restaurant was pretty busy with a great ambience & a three piece band belting out some great bluesy tunes. The 6six of us opted for the chefs choice $45pp with unlimited dishes. The best dishes of the night included Kingfish Creole, Sticky cheeks, slow cooked lamb ribs & bocconcini stuffed... More

Just by chance we were walking by and heard some music and we walked into a lovely atmosphere and it was a beautiful balmy night and we choose to sit outside and was looked after straight away were drinks were bought forward and food soon after it was simply gorgous food i reccomend the beef cheek, tapas were among the... We live only minutes away and are often kept awake by the noise so we thought we'd give it a try, its always busy so it must be good. We were seated and our order was taken straight away, the food came within minutes (before drinks!) so we were pretty impressed but be it a bit sceptical. 3/4 dishes were... More

I was on my own this evening but totally enjoyed the helpful, fast and friendly service, the lovely food and exotic live music. The atmosphere was relaxed an lots of people were laughing and enjoying themselves. If dining at the outside tables, bring a wrap as the evenings get chilly. I would dine here regularly if I lived here but... More

Great live music all the way from London (Pimps of Sound), attentive and friendly staff, busy outside dining (it's too hot to sit inside the indoor kitchen cum restaurant), excellent tapas food, reasonable priced wine, overall a great dining experience. I've had tapas all over the world and whilst not the largest of menus the range of thirty or so... More

Wow, wow and wow! What an awesome place. Tucked away in Fremantle, the courtyard is like another world, away from everything. We ordered the $45 banquet and it was sensational, so many dishes and absolutely delicious. At the end we tried picking a favourite dish but couldn't settle on just one, they were all fabulous. Relaxing atmosphere with a Bluegrass... More

We were conned into getting the banquet that was touted to be "all you can eat", so we took our time and sampled some of their watered-down, overpriced sangria. Then after we had eaten a couple of plates of small sized portions, we were abruptly informed that the banquet was for 2 hours and that our time was up. Give... More
