HIT... AND MISS

Well, I was walking down the road, and there was live music coming from this place. I was tired, and didn’t want to walk any further, so this “atmosphere” drew me in, and I am quite happy that it did. POSITIVE POINTS: Staff is really friendly, and really fast. We had the 15 course taste menu and made it to the end purely because we had to; know if the next course was going to be as good as the previous one.

The food, atmosphere and customer service are great. The red wine however is really bad (bad enough that I could finish my glass and I'm a clean skin drinker) and there is only wine from the one winery (maybe owned by the Gypsy Tapas House owner?)

Was a little difficult to work out which one was the Gypsy Tapas House. They need a bigger sign outside. Great tasting and unusual cocktails. Own brewed pale ales and beers. Ginger beer was very nice. Great food and portion size. Staff were super friendly and nice. Service was spot on. Thank you

We went as a large group for dinner on a Saturday night. We opted for the set menu at $45 a head. The food was fantastic and there was a great range of dishes. There was also no shortage of food. There was more than enough for everyone. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. They even checked to... More

$9.50 per yummy dish! So it's up to you how much you want to spend. 7 dishes between 4 of us was more than enough. Fantastic flavours and lovely staff

I wanted to give this 3/5, but the staff were genuinely nice I couldn't bring myself to. Nice casual setup + really fast service. Oxtail was outstanding, but everything else was probably a bit 'pre-prepared'. The lamb ribs were dry and the whitebait was like old chips stuff to the bottom of a deepfryer basket.... Good for a quick bite,... More

We did the chef's menu and it was delightful. Included prawns and a great barramundi dish. The slow cooked beef cheeks were also delicious. This place provided great service, well balanced dishes, and fun atmosphere. They also brew their own beer - and ginger beer. I'd definitely go again.

Have been here twice now and both times opted to have the Chef's Menu with the gluten free option. They bring out 15 dishes for $45 per person. Food is good, and gourmet. The only thing they need to work on is their gluten free bread which tastes like a slightly sour hard scone. Service is impeccable and waitstaff are... More
